“Great selection of REAL good food. Love the vegetarian and vegan options and there's ton's of great flavor in everything I've tried... from some nice light tacos to their decadent chorizo and queso dip (available with the vegan meat as well!) ... it's just all super fresh stuff, and on top of that the service is great - wicked friendly and down-to-earth small business vibe AND they get your order ready.
Sometimes the phone is busy, but every time I've just walked into put in a takeout order I'm out the door with some yummy food in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“Cheryl and I dined with friends last night at Casa Azul Taqueria at 840 Allens Avenue in Providence. Although the place is small, with just three tables and primarily offering takeout, the food is fantastic, featuring great vegan options. We're definitely going back!“

“I decided to try Tacos Don Nacho for the first time at the Pawtucket location earlier and I’ll say the lady working was accommodating. I ordered a variety of 3 tacos which had asada carnitas and pollo with a pineapple jarritos which I paid $10.50 for a nice lunch. I recommend this place.“

“We are repeat customers of Maaz’s and we wanted to just let the staff know that our gyros and especially french fries were the BEST we have ever gotten by far from you guys. We are so happy with how much seasoning and how crispy the fries are, they are the best batch you guys have ever gotten, keep that supplier whoever it is! The gyros were also huge!!! “As a born & raised San Diegan trapped in Connecticut, I’m a snob when it comes to Mexican food. I happened to be in Johnston on business when I noticed California Taco Shop. Of course I turned my nose up & said “ha! That’s funny.” But like anybody on their high horse, I had to try it. I got the California burrito, 5 rolled tacos, & a horchata. The horchata was SPOT ON! I thought I was back home for a minute & not in Rhode Island. The California burrito was quite good, & quite stuffed. But not just with filler. With FLAVOR! The rolled tacos were a little shorter than back home, but the flavor more than made up for it (& again, just comparing it to what I grew up on I dug the decor & the music in the background. Reminded me of weekends at the National City Swap Meet. It’s about an hour-fifty from my house, but I’ll be back!“

“I would rate this place 4.5. Pupusas were delicious and freshly made. I had a taco de tripa, mixto and carnitas. I ordered 4 tacos but realized when I got home that they only gave me 3. The tacos were good, very delicious. Definitely order ahead.“

Always fresh, Always a plentiful amount of options, And always a sweet, welcoming face and voice From Gigi as you enter! The food, service, & atmosphere are all a 10+! If you want some authentic food, Or even a freshly squeezed and Homemade pineapple juice or a passionfruit juice, This is your place to come! Enjoy Pastelitos? They also have them fresh made every day! Endless options at this wonderful, quaint cuisine!“

I found it a month ago, I have Dr's appt here biweekly across the street...I lived in San Diego for 3 ages miss the Mexican food the most, but this is the closest I've found.. and that saying a lot... if you've had it out west, you know what I mean.. this is the best I've found in the north east..“

“This place used to be really good when they first opened. After COVID came around, things declined rapidly as everything else did. They are steadily get better with their taste and flavors. However, cleanliness is lacking since the renovations they've made. Layers of dust cling to the ceiling fan and the vinyl flags hanging above the entire restaurant. Would definitely be 4.5 stars if time and care was taken into some general / food safe dusting.“
