“Great selection of REAL good food. Love the vegetarian and vegan options and there's ton's of great flavor in everything I've tried... from some nice light tacos to their decadent chorizo and queso dip (available with the vegan meat as well!) ... it's just all super fresh stuff, and on top of that the service is great - wicked friendly and down-to-earth small business vibe AND they get your order ready.
Sometimes the phone is busy, but every time I've just walked into put in a takeout order I'm out the door with some yummy food in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!“

“The service was efficient and the food tasted great! Everything was made to order. It was so good that I came back to order more tacos for my mom and me. Please note that it is cash only. There's a grocery store nearby with an ATM to use.“

“Overall food is very tasty, I love the chicken tacos . They do pack the tortillas with a good amount of meat however they did make their tortillas smaller compared to 4 years ago. One incident of “ never receiving my order” and no I did not call any other location. Outside of that service and atmosphere is okay not over the top just efficient which is normal . Cash + card payment
- parking sucks is the biggest downside“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“Cheryl and I dined with friends last night at Casa Azul Taqueria at 840 Allens Avenue in Providence. Although the place is small, with just three tables and primarily offering takeout, the food is fantastic, featuring great vegan options. We're definitely going back!“

“As a born & raised San Diegan trapped in Connecticut, I’m a snob when it comes to Mexican food. I happened to be in Johnston on business when I noticed California Taco Shop. Of course I turned my nose up & said “ha! That’s funny.” But like anybody on their high horse, I had to try it. I got the California burrito, 5 rolled tacos, & a horchata. The horchata was SPOT ON! I thought I was back home for a minute & not in Rhode Island. The California burrito was quite good, & quite stuffed. But not just with filler. With FLAVOR! The rolled tacos were a little shorter than back home, but the flavor more than made up for it (& again, just comparing it to what I grew up on I dug the decor & the music in the background. Reminded me of weekends at the National City Swap Meet. It’s about an hour-fifty from my house, but I’ll be back!“

“BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN TOWN !!! The best part is that it's HALAL !!! I loved the chicken pieces, spicy tenders, sweet chilli wings and loaded fries....chicken was juicy and tender. They have a diverse menu with cheesesteaks to chicken over rice to burgers to desserts. Highly recommended place for fast food lovers !!!“

I found it a month ago, I have Dr's appt here biweekly across the street...I lived in San Diego for 3 ages miss the Mexican food the most, but this is the closest I've found.. and that saying a lot... if you've had it out west, you know what I mean.. this is the best I've found in the north east..“

“I would rate this place 4.5. Pupusas were delicious and freshly made. I had a taco de tripa, mixto and carnitas. I ordered 4 tacos but realized when I got home that they only gave me 3. The tacos were good, very delicious. Definitely order ahead.“

“All I have to say is wow! I have been working in the area for two years and this is my go to lunch spot. Always fresh, Always a plentiful amount of options, And always a sweet, welcoming face and voice From Gigi as you enter! The food, service, & atmosphere are all a 10+! If you want some authentic food, Or even a freshly squeezed and Homemade pineapple juice or a passionfruit juice, This is your place to come! Enjoy Pastelitos? “Best tacos in the state! Always delicious. I love that they let you make pretty much everything vegetarian. The veggie taco Supremes and rice are phenomenal. This is also definitely the best location I've tried. The only thing is portions can be inconsistent and there definitely has been some shrinkflation in recent years. Other than that, you can't beat this place on flavor and price. So good! 🌮“
