“Great cocktails, appetizers and dinner, but ONE MAJOR DETAIL OVERLOOKED- when we made our reservation for our party of 6, we specifically asked for a candle in a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday in our party. We enjoyed our meals and eagerly awaited dessert- but the only surprise was that we got the check! When I mentioned this to our (otherwise very good) waitress, she said she wasn't advised of the birthday....very disappointing!“

“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. “Been patronizing Angelo's for years (years & years) - it's my 'Go To' place in Providence for Italian. There are plenty of good Italian Restaurants but Angelo's treats you like family . My favorte server is Thera - always smiling - always friendly - and always flying around the resturant making sure everyone is happy. My recommendation - ask for her :-)“

“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. Highly recommend“

“I have numerous food allergies, making going out to eat an anxiety filled experience for me. We found Cassarino's while looking for a safe place to eat while in Providence. I've struggled with finding an Italian restaurant I'm comfortable eating at for years! Our server, Morgan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe while eating here! I would happily take the 45 minute drive down here to eat again.“

“Outstanding meal! There were 7 of us for a family gathering (we met in the middle for CT + MA family) and everything about our dinner was exceptional! The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!“

“I grew up in RI and now live far away. When I come back home, Christy's is a must stop. ! am fortunate enough to have shopped at liquor stores all across the country and the world. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Deborah. Wonderful conversation, wonderful experience. Had what we were looking for and more. I've been shopping at this liquor store for years and just met her today. There is a reason it's right at the top of my lists as my favorite stores. There is no hometown bias, it's a great store sincerely and anyone looking for a good experience and a business worth supporting should shop here.

You will not be disappointed by this restaurant. We went for dinner because we received a gift card. I got the prime rib ravioli and my husband got the osso bucco, both were fantastic it was hard not to finish the whole plate. Armando sat with us and explained the menu and chose wine pairings for us from his imported wines based on our preferences. Many family recipes on the menu, it feels like such a personal experience. Can’t recommend it enough!“

“This was an amazing location for a chill romantic dinner. My wife and I were amazed from the first bite of bread. We split apps, trying the beef mofonguitos and the Spruce roll. Even though I dont like sushi, I liked the roll, and the mofonguitos were incredibly well seasoned, and the plantain cups were delicious.

Then our entrees arrived, and we were amazed all over again. I went with the Churrasco Dominican, an incredibly well seasoned steak, with asparagus that almost melted in my mouth. My wife went more Italian, getting the gnocchi, and the combination was delicious.

Fortunately, we left room for dessert, because the cheesecake was velvety in a way that I dont think I have ever had in a cheesecake before (and I have had quite a few).

I already want to go back, and I can absolutely see us going back for their brunch or for their rush hour special on Thursdays. And the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Alysia, was super kind and helpful, and I genuinely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future.

TLDR: I'd go every day if I could afford to. That was probably one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life, and I can't wait to go back.“

“Our family-owned restaurant was a treat!

We devoured so much food, and everything was absolutely delicious. The main course (which I didn’t get to photograph) was generously portioned. The appetizers were also fantastic, and the desserts were a sweet finish. The oysters, which I had for the first time, were huge and incredibly good. I highly recommend it, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or on a date, if you’re a fan of authentic Italian cuisine.“

“Trattoria Romana in Johnston now serves Sunday brunch beginning at 10am! Fantastic menu, fantastic service, beautiful restaurant! My bestie and I enjoyed a girl's brunch. Chicken and waffles and Corner Beef Hash and eggs! Very yummy! The fry on the chicken was light yet crispy. The chicken was so tender it fell apart. The menu has all your brunch favorites like blueberry pancakes and Benedicts. There is also a full brunch bar offering Mimosa flights and espresso martini flights! Go check them out before the secret is out and you can't get a reservation!“

“We went to Uncle Tony's very early, around 4:15pm and were seated very quickly. This was our first time at Uncle Tony's. The dining rooms were nice and quiet, clean and neat. The menu has a wide variety and prices are reasonable. There are plenty of Italian favorites: we ordered Uncle Tony's special which was Pasta with sauce featuring tiny shrimp and clams- delicious! We also ordered their Lasagna and it was the best we've ever had in Rhode Island (no kidding!). Their red sauce is so tasty! Not too sharp, and the lasagna filling is a nice mixture of beef with Italian sausage. Our server was excellent and very attentive without too much interaction. Whenever we are around route 44 (Johnston) at dinnertime - we will stop again! By the way, we recommend getting to Uncle Tony's early because they are really a popular place!“
