“This place is a hidden gem! My son and I were on our way to a play across the street and decided to stop in at Waterfall Cafe to get a quick bite to eat! We had Zucchini sticks, hot and delicious! Also a Smashed burger and a Southwest Chicken Quesadilla! My son also had a Key Lime Martini which he said was great! We sat at the bar with Haley who treated us like family. Great personality and service was top notch! We will return!!”

“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. Juicy, smothered in a delectable sauce. The portion was incredible for the price. The service was perfectly paced, the staff were attentive and friendly. I will be coming back, and inviting everyone I can!”

“We love this place! Their cheesecakes are so flavorful and come in so many fun flavors. They are always experimenting with different flavors and we have never had one we didn’t like! You can get mini ones, slices and sometimes even a whole cake. Great prices and friendly service.”

“So pleased that we drive by this amazing market on the way to my son and DIL’s new house. Everything we’ve tried so far is over the top delicious! Sourdough bread- amazing and light but crusty on top! Soups are fabulous- Italian wedding, chicken chowder and turkey chili were our first try’s and impossible to pick a favorite. All just delicious. Now, portobello stuffed mushrooms- flavor bombs- must try!! Croissants are all just phenomenal! Each trip leads us to taste test more options and thankfully, today is our next trip!! “Mondays test kitchen is great, taco Tuesdays and karaoke Thursdays and Saturdays and its affordable. Owner runs a tight ship. and its always ice cold in the summer and warm in the winter. very clean environment.”

“Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. My son loved his cookie, and I’ve been dreaming of that cream puff ever since 🤤 we can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream! Great snacks and even greater employees! Thank you for a great day!”

“I ordered a gender reveal cake for my sister, and it exceeded expectations! Despite placing the order for pickup during a busy Easter weekend, they were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with.

I had shared a fondant inspiration photo, and they were able to transform it into a even better buttercream design so that it would not only taste better but looked even cuter and more elegant than the inspo photo. The attention to detail stood out right away. Guests kept pointing out the small touches, like the 3D buttercream bees with buttercream wings and little eyes. As someone who used to decorate cakes myself, I was also really impressed by their piping skills, not just on this cake but on the cookies and other desserts I saw in the display case when I picked it up (It also smelled so good in their shop). I also could tell they truly make their cakes from scratch- so delicious and beautifully done!

The ordering process was simple and straightforward, which I really appreciated. There was also a last-minute change in my plans where I was originally going to provide the gender, but my sister decided to surprise the rest of us instead. They handled the change seamlessly and coordinated directly with her for the inside color without any issues.

“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time. What are you waiting for? Go down to the roadhouse!”
