“MY MOST FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT GOING THERE FOR YEARS BUT I ALWAYS ON FRIDAYS I ORDER THE BAKED SCROD ITALIANO IT WAS DISAPPOINTING FIR THE 1ST TIME MY FRIEND ORDERED THE SALMON FILET WITH HONEY SAUCE, DISH CAME OUT ACTUALLY STILL BOILING VERY VERY WELL DONE, SO HOT TOOK A WHILE TO COOL DOWN WERE HE WAS ABLE TO EAT IT The Scrod Italiano was hastily put together fish in pieces 4 clams way over cooked no chopped class like usual couple of pieces of calamari, that was a 1st I know it isn't the norm food is always prepared marvelously Chef most of had A bad day Definitely will be back food is to awesome to stay away“

All of our appetizers, rice dishes, noodle dishes and desserts were really, really delicious!! Plus the prices are very reasonable.“

“Family run atmosphere with the best service I have experienced in a long time. The restaurant gives off “your mommas home kitchen” vibe with the friendliest, kindest, and caring staff. Our server stayed and talked with us about life and my wife and I (From Florida) felt right at home. The food was amazing! Scrambled eggs were super creamy (I had cheese mixed in with mine), pancakes were cooked to perfection, my wife’s French toast was amazing! The star of the show was the homemade corn beef hash, this is my opinion, is a must try! Will definitely come back every time we are in town! “Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. “We got a large order of Bahn Mis and I can’t recommend the experience enough. The catering was delicious, the price was extremely reasonable, and the order was ready to go on time! Huge shoutout to Mike for quickly answering order questions via text. Our team all agreed that we’d get them next time (or three) that we need catering. Didn’t get to eat in shop but it was a welcoming vibe that I’ll visit soon. Also, I must personally emphasize that the tofu one with peanut sauce was heavenly.“

Everybody was complimenting how unique and cool The venue was, a hidden gem despite many of my guests being locals they hadn’t heard about it yet. The chicken and lamb combo over rice is incredibly flavorful and juicy, and their famous white sauce is easily the best in the city. The portions are huge for the price—I usually have enough left over for a second meal—and the service is always fast and friendly. It’s much better than the typical food court options and is easily the freshest, most satisfying spot in the thayer street.“

“I’d like to give a shout out to a local businesses where I had an absolutely delicious meal. I was looking for something new & different in the Cranston area close to Garden City that wasn’t the same old monotonous fare that I’m used to. I stopped in for lunch on Thursday as I had an appointment on Reservoir Ave & again for dinner on Sunday after I picked up a cake at Antonio's Bakery. I’d like to start out by saying, I’m half Italian on my Dad’s side (Neapolitan, from the Avelino region, & Sicilian, specifically from Messina) & a quarter Armenian on my Mom’s side (ancient Armenia which is modern day Turkey)…so therefore I’m extremely fussy about my Italian, Armenian, Mediterranean, & Middle Eastern cuisine; my Grandma (Neapolitan) & Grandma (Armenian) were outstanding chef’s in their respective kitchens, & I was outrageously spoiled as a child & very rarely ate out, I had the best of the best~those skills were certainly not passed down nor inherited by me-scrambled eggs in the microwave anyone. With that being said… The owner (who is from Syria, so you know you’re getting an authentic product) & his team provided great customer service, very attentive & patient, knowledgeable about the food they’re serving & able to explain the flavor profile of each item. The restaurant is pretty well taken care of & clean. They encouraged me to try the shawarma, I’m glad I listened, I wasn’t disappointed…now I’m obsessed. I ordered the grape leaves, hummus, & chicken gyro. The grape leaves and the tzatziki were okay, I was expecting a tangy, lemony flavor with the grape leaves along with a more traditional look as well as flavor to the tzatziki, however the hummus & chicken gyro were very good. The hummus was creamy & the gyro was light, airy, & mild…it felt like I was eating healthy. The owner provided a free sample of their falafel…which I had at another establishment years ago & didn’t like…when I returned on Sunday I ordered that along with the chicken gyro, & the owner gave me a free paklava dessert-to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it as I’ve found others hit or miss & off putting. Needless to say, I had an amazing experience & I’ll definitely be a repeat customer for sure when I’m in town.“

“Just had another delicious meal at Minh Hai. The food is fresh and absolutely wonderful -- worth waiting for! Recommend the vermicilli bowl, and the seasoned rice plates -- beef and pork are both to die for. Another favorite is the tofu and eggplant dish. Thank you!“

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “Was in the area for an extended work trip and found Apponaug on Google. Tried it once and became a regular here it was such a great place. The staff (brew crew) were amazing and the food and beer were top notch. Would recommend to anyone if your any where remotely close it’s worth the trip.“
