“We were staying nearby and decided to get Thai. The decor inside is wonderful and thoughtfully done. The food was really good and prices are amazing. I was shocked by how affordable they were. The gentleman who served us was very kind and friendly. No complaints. Would definitely return in the future.”

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣”

The service was good and the staff very friendly.

The chicken quality was excellent, but I would say for me it’s over seasoned and that makes the outside breading hard and somewhat dry. You can overcome this by adding more Dave’s sauce and pickles, but overall it wasn’t anything super special.

Fries are a bit boring, just basic crinkle fries with some kind of old bay seasoning.

For me it doesn’t rank above many other main stream Chicken shops. I Would not make a special trip for it, but would go back again.”

There are tables inside and outside if you want to hang out. You can buy their own products and packaged coffees. I bought a latte, the coffee was really fresh. I think it has a few awards too. “Very professional experience, we have been to Bouchard/ Chanterelle before and never disappointed. From entering the restaurant and being seated to leaving at the end of the evening. Chanterelle continues to add that little touch you don't see much of anymore. We were impressed with the food, the incredible service, and the ambiance. Max, our waiter, was great and very accommodating. I highly recommend trying Chanterelle.”
