“My boyfriend and I have been here many times throughout the year . This is hands down one of the best dining experiences we have ever had . Every staff that works here has incredible knowledge and confidence in what they do and the food / drinks backs it up entirely . Not only this but the price point for everything is absolutely fair and if not I think less than what it should be for the experience you get ! Best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had ! “Been patronizing Angelo's for years (years & years) - it's my 'Go To' place in Providence for Italian. There are plenty of good Italian Restaurants but Angelo's treats you like family . My favorte server is Thera - always smiling - always friendly - and always flying around the resturant making sure everyone is happy. My recommendation - ask for her :-)“

“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. “I have numerous food allergies, making going out to eat an anxiety filled experience for me. We found Cassarino's while looking for a safe place to eat while in Providence. I've struggled with finding an Italian restaurant I'm comfortable eating at for years! Our server, Morgan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe while eating here! I would happily take the 45 minute drive down here to eat again.“

“Outstanding meal! There were 7 of us for a family gathering (we met in the middle for CT + MA family) and everything about our dinner was exceptional! The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “This was an amazing location for a chill romantic dinner. My wife and I were amazed from the first bite of bread. We split apps, trying the beef mofonguitos and the Spruce roll. Even though I dont like sushi, I liked the roll, and the mofonguitos were incredibly well seasoned, and the plantain cups were delicious.

Then our entrees arrived, and we were amazed all over again. I went with the Churrasco Dominican, an incredibly well seasoned steak, with asparagus that almost melted in my mouth. My wife went more Italian, getting the gnocchi, and the combination was delicious.

Fortunately, we left room for dessert, because the cheesecake was velvety in a way that I dont think I have ever had in a cheesecake before (and I have had quite a few).

I already want to go back, and I can absolutely see us going back for their brunch or for their rush hour special on Thursdays. And the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Alysia, was super kind and helpful, and I genuinely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future.

TLDR: I'd go every day if I could afford to. That was probably one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life, and I can't wait to go back.“

You will not be disappointed by this restaurant. We went for dinner because we received a gift card. I got the prime rib ravioli and my husband got the osso bucco, both were fantastic it was hard not to finish the whole plate. Armando sat with us and explained the menu and chose wine pairings for us from his imported wines based on our preferences. Many family recipes on the menu, it feels like such a personal experience. Can’t recommend it enough!“

“Our family-owned restaurant was a treat!

We devoured so much food, and everything was absolutely delicious. The main course (which I didn’t get to photograph) was generously portioned. The appetizers were also fantastic, and the desserts were a sweet finish. The oysters, which I had for the first time, were huge and incredibly good. I highly recommend it, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or on a date, if you’re a fan of authentic Italian cuisine.“

“What do I recommend….Absolutely everything ! This is the Italian restaurant experience everyone should have. You’re treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to our table looked and tasted like the main ingredient is love. If you are fortunate enough to go when Mama’s stuffed squash flowers are on the specials menu, you better try them. Isabella our waitress was absolutely amazing. The menu has all your brunch favorites like blueberry pancakes and Benedicts. There is also a full brunch bar offering Mimosa flights and espresso martini flights! Go check them out before the secret is out and you can't get a reservation!“

“We went to Uncle Tony's very early, around 4:15pm and were seated very quickly. This was our first time at Uncle Tony's. The dining rooms were nice and quiet, clean and neat. The menu has a wide variety and prices are reasonable. There are plenty of Italian favorites: we ordered Uncle Tony's special which was Pasta with sauce featuring tiny shrimp and clams- delicious! We also ordered their Lasagna and it was the best we've ever had in Rhode Island (no kidding!). Their red sauce is so tasty! Not too sharp, and the lasagna filling is a nice mixture of beef with Italian sausage. Our server was excellent and very attentive without too much interaction. Whenever we are around route 44 (Johnston) at dinnertime - we will stop again! By the way, we recommend getting to Uncle Tony's early because they are really a popular place!“

“Gia Ristorante Italiano Hubby & I had an amazing dinner last night at Gia's in Uxbridge! It was a last minute decision to go there, but so glad we did. It was a quiet night, cold outside, but inside they had a beautiful fire roaring, smelled so good. We both had amazing meals, waitress was very helpful, answering all our questions. They even made a few changes to a dish so my husband got exactly what he wanted. We will definitely be going there again soon! Highly recommend them for a nice Italian dinner 😋“

“Great cocktails, appetizers and dinner, but ONE MAJOR DETAIL OVERLOOKED- when we made our reservation for our party of 6, we specifically asked for a candle in a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday in our party. We enjoyed our meals and eagerly awaited dessert- but the only surprise was that we got the check! When I mentioned this to our (otherwise very good) waitress, she said she wasn't advised of the birthday....very disappointing!“

“Just did a wedding celebration there on Oct 5th, 2025. Have to make some comments. Facility was Immaculate. Staff was more 6 star than 5. Food was great, but since I was working the stage as DJ, I had mine to go. Packaged well. Large dance floor, and acoustics of the room worked very well. When you perform all over New England, you have to tell it like it is.“

“We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!“

“I called Park Ave Pizza and they were super busy, so I told them I’d call back in about 15–20 minutes. Before I even got the chance, THEY called ME back to make sure they didn’t forget my order. At that moment I was literally scrolling for the next option and I’m so glad they took the time to reach out. That level of customer service is rare.

The food was amazing, delivery was fast, and the whole experience was 10/10.

“Ordered takeout from Wise Guys on Douglas Pike in Smithfield. We were greeted by a sassy and friendly Holly when picking up. The order was ready 10 minutes early and was piping hot. We had a NY Sytle half ham & half pepperoni, a Sicilian cheese, and a huge personal Knucky Thompson with Blue Cheese. Great sauce and crust. Glad we finally tried this place out and loved the customer service!!“
