My absolute favorite sandwich place in the state. I haven't been to every sandwich place in the state, but quite a few. The bread, the fresh, high quality ingredients, it's all just spot on. I've only ever gotten two of their Italians, the Alitalia and the Deluxe. Both are amazing. I prefer the Alitalia, as it seems a bit more high end with prosciutto and capocollo, instead of salami and ham (they both have pepperoni and provolone). The provolone that they use is top notch. What luck that we found this jewel of a sandwich shop! The menu offers a wide variety of choices. On the advice of another patron, I tried the BLT and my partner had the meatball parm. Both were delicious. We loved the ambiance of a neighborhood restaurant with all sorts of diners. Next time we visit Providence, I'll try the muffuletta. We highly recommend you check out The Sandwich Hut!
