“What a gem! I got Lavender Fields and it was beautiful and so unique. Pastries were good too. But look at the decor! I have never been to a coffee shop like this. They offered to make my take-out coffee for someone else after I finished my own. Owner chatted with me a bit and gave me recommendations on where to visit in Providence. Top notch service. Short 5 minute walk from Veterans Memorial Auditorium.“

“I visited on a work/leisure trip and had read about this shop in barista magazine and I’m soooo glad I stopped. The oat cappuccino was delicious and beautiful. I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich or lentil bowl for lunch! I didn’t get to have any pastries but have no doubt they’re just as good. Wish I had more time to stay longer because it was just great! The staff is sweet and have great anticipatory service skills. You can tell these folks know what they’re doing!“

“I had a great experience here. The staff were super sweet and everything I ordered was great. I got a latte and a pumpkin muffin. The muffin was super moist, not too sweet, and definitely tasted homemade. The latte was delicious. The prices are super reasonable. They also have lots of great seating. Highly recommend.“

New to Providence or just visiting, enjoy a cup of coffee and get great suggestions on what to see and do. They are supporters of local artisans for all your souvenir needs. Can’t say enough good things about this place. ❤️“

“It's great to see the Xo Bar open again! It was always one of our top lounges to go to back in the early 2000s! Now its even better with the new hang out lounge area! It's so hard to find a nice place with cozy couches in RI. It has a great set up and friendly service! We will be back!!“
“I want to say the food is great and Tammy is a pleasant woman. She is a very hard worker and will do anything for the customers. The other woman I feel like she just seats around.“
“The Watermark Cafe is RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) owned dining venue. Though many RISD students come here regularly, the general public seem to always drop by and enjoy toasty treats and healthy meals. The cafe serves excellent fresh sandwiches, wraps, burritos, soups, salads, fruit, local yogurt, organic smoothies, espresso drinks, fair trade coffee, and organic tea. A lot of the stuff is kept local, organic, and healthy-conscious.“

“Went to Dough Bros for the first time today and I was very impressed! Shop was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Service was excellent, they were patient with my excited kids and the prices were so much better than similar shops. Most importantly for me with my kids - it was EASY. Similar shops in the area have challenging parking, super crowded areas and are tough with littles. This was perfect. Got the doughnuts home and they were outstanding!“
“Great experience We ran a fundraiser and the people, food & drinks were absolutely incredible . Highly recommended. Donna the bartender gave such a wonderful experience Thank you so much for the wonderful service“
“Healthy & Fit Nutrition is by far the best herb-a-life shake around. Tons of protein, low calorie and the taste is amazing! Not to mention the TONS of different flavors to choose from. Z, the owner, welcomes everyone with a smile, and is a friendly environment!“

“The employees are very friendly and welcoming! Love the smoothie of the day!“
“Fantastic. They made me the best iced mocha I've had since I've been back in the US, exactly to order, and the bagels are great. They have less wasteful packaging than most places these days, too; not super-eco, but they haven't completely given up, like most coffee places in New England. And there are lots of places to plug in a laptop and chill by a window. I'll definitely be back.
Parking: I don't think this is a driving neighbourhood.
Wheelchair accessibility: The building is a bit of a rabbit warren, alongside a bit of a hill—there may be wheelchair access, but it isn't obvious.“

“We visited the RISD Museum location on a quiet Sunday morning; since not many cafes are open before 1000 on a Sunday, this was our closest choice. This little cafe is quaint, with some good coffee and interesting tea options. Of note, the chinese black tea surprisingly was really good. The pastries are good, but not as fresh as you would expect.“

“My family and I recently visited the RISD Museum in Rhode Island, and it was a memorable experience. After enjoying the impressive art collections, we decided to grab some drinks from Cafe Pearl. We ordered a mocha latte, an Americano, and a hot chocolate.
However, when I tried to pay, my credit card was declined multiple times since it wasn’t a US card. I only had enough cash to cover the hot chocolate. I asked the staff to cancel the rest of the order, but to our surprise, they generously told us not to worry and gave us the mocha and Americano for free.
Their kindness truly made our visit special. Thank you.“

“Prepare for the most delicious smoothie of your life! This place is run by a sweet doña with the kindest smile. The name caught me and I had to go inside. It's very bright and colorful inside and they have a ton of beverage options. They also have like 20 topping options for your drink! I will definitely going back. I am very glad that I found a banh mi place and a smoothie place on the same block!“

“If you want a taste of real coffee, this is the place to go! The environment is very calming and beautiful with lots of photos and memories all around, the atmosphere is very friendly, and to top it off, the coffee is amazing, and it tastes incredible! I only ordered a cappuccino, and it is the best coffee I think I ever had. This place is open for only a few hours in the morning but just staying there for 10 minutes made me enjoy the whole day!“

“This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own. I had custard in mine with chocolates ice cream, dulce de leche over the top and covered in coconut. Absolutely delicious! My foodie friend introduced me. They definitely enjoyed theirs! Thank you!“

“I really have enjoyed my Sunday mornings in Providence, in part due to the Poindexter Coffee Shop, located in the (former Biltmore Hotel), now the Graduate Hotel! The service, atmosphere, coffee, and pastries & breakfast sandwiches, are wonderful! I have been re-welcomed by the new staff and manager, Jasmine, to better everything!!! Make it a destination“

“This is a small cafe near to the Rhode Island School of Design. There is a nice variety of sandwiches and a selection of pastries and salads. Many coffee beverages were on offer as well. Reasonably priced it has soft cushioned benches and wooden tables and chairs. This was the perfect place to refuel before tackling the RISD museum. I particularly liked the friendly staff.“
