“Best ice cream in the state certainly, in the country most likely. I consider myself an ice cream snob and this is the gold standard for me. Creamy, flavorful, authentic hard serve. Delicious house-made waffle cones. Thick milkshakes / "cabinets." Excellent cheerful staff (window service). Outdoor seating available, but usually I wolf it down standing or bring it home to my family.“
“I highly recommend this place for its amazing homemade ice cream. The “Dirty Grasshoppa” is my all-time favorite flavor - the combination of mint and coffee ice cream with Oreos is simply amazing. The location is perfect for enjoying the sunset on the jetty while savoring your ice cream. It's a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy the view. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.Overall, The Sweet Spot is definitely worth a visit. Don't forget to grab a pint of your favorite flavor to take home with you!“
“Excellent ice cream store! Right next to a really good diner. There seems to always be a line of people waiting to order, but the line moves speedily. The servings are generous and they have dairy-free options! The creamery is accessible, and has plenty of parking out front.“
“Good gelato. Open till 11pm. Only place around. Parking is confusing but spaces are available. Six chairs to sit outside face parking lot. $7 two scoops of gelato. Waffle bowl $1.25. $8.25 for two scoops and waffle bowl. Scoops were good size. Fast service. Young friendly staff. Pistachio light flavor. Cannoli flavor initially good light also. Nutella flavor a must. Espresso more maple than espresso. Should be stronger.“
“Delicious warm soft cookies! Easy location with lots of parking! Service was fast and as soon as you walk in you are smacked in the face with the most delicious smells of baked cookies. They have both regular size which are called classsic. Then they have the larger size called Deluxe. We didn't go with the boxes and just order a la cart. The peanut butter deluxe will forever drive me back to this location. Ah mazing.“
“The cheeseburger was delicious, one of the better ones I have had in a long time! My kids are picky eaters, but enjoyed the chicken basket and fries. Be prepared to be ripped off of course, but at least everything tasted good. Is conveniently located at salty brine beach!“
“Very cute roadside ice cream shack. We've now been there twice and both visits were good experiences. The place looks very clean inside. Friendly service both times. We only went for their soft serve vanilla, which is among the best I've ever had. (It's the only soft serve flavor they have. I hope they get chocolate before summer's out!) So creamy, dense (hate when it's aerated) and smooth, just how I like it! Lots of nice people hanging out on the property enjoying their frozen treats.“
“I've stopped here many times over the years and I've never had a bad meal and it's always consistent. On this visit I was craving a awful awful and honestly it tastes the same now as it did in the 70's when I had my first one. If you're not familiar with the awful awful it is a milkshake. The only difference between now and then is as a kid we were paying .99¢ as opposed to six and change, but still worth it from time to time.“
“Really good!Maybe just a bit too sweet. But the texture and flavors are very well balanced. We tried 5 different flavors and loved them all. Will definitely come again.BTW the line outside looks scary, but moves rather quickly, their staff works efficiently“
