“I HIGHLY recommend Newport Sticks & Cones!!!! The ice cream and gelato was super DELICIOUS!! The gelato is made by the owner himself and I tried 4 different flavors during my vacation. Speaking of the owner… he was friendly, courteous and accommodating. My child has multiple food allergies and the owner made sure that my son was able to have a sweet treat safely. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Newport!!!“

“I was visiting Newport and decided to stop by your shop with a friend to get ice cream around 4pm on August 31st when we pointed out to the young guy making the order that he gave me the wrong cone. After pointing out that we asked for waffle cone he became very rude and started throwing things around and even swore. Needless to say we will not be returning there again.“

“Great variety of candy. They don't have a selection of fudge and chocolates in display case like they used to. No chocolate Carmel pecans or cashews. We still enjoy going and filling our buckets with taffy, sweedish fish, and many, many more goodies. Traditional stop on our vacation.“

“Place was awesome. Top one in RI at this moment. They are the only one with a peanut butter based ice cream. Everyone else who has peanut butter makes it vanilla or chocolate based. Adding peanut butter or Reese's or peanut butter cups does not make it peanut butter ice cream. This place is awesome, reasonably priced, with super sweet individuals working there. You gained a customer today. See you soon and great job, Hill-top.“
