“Great people, great atmosphere“

“So I’m not a true Portuguese person and I was visiting from away. My wife who grew up here says the food is phenomenal for what it is. I found it just OK maybe it’s just not my style. It was steak cooked with a very flavorful Portuguese sauce and french fries on the side, that were great in the sauce. atmosphere is a bit tacky like an old restaurant that once was a bit nicer. It’s not a fancy place by any means. It reminds me of your typical Sunday morning breakfast place as far as atmosphere goes.“

“Went in for a takeout order, my son picked it up, we live the next street over, lady told me 15 min wait, Got a steak plate, steak was huge!! Very flavorful, fries were soggy as you can tell in the picture. Didn't know they charged $5 for rice, with the amount of rice they give it should either be included or 2-3 max.“

“It wasnt my first time ordering from Piri Piri kitchen, and the food has always been delicious, however I feel like this time deserves some recognition! I placed an order for a couple of food trays for New Years eve... unfortunately there was a slight mess up with the kitchen to where one of the trays was short some food. Sandy was excellent at recognizing the mistake and made sure to compensate us and even threw in some extras to make up for it!! Mistakes happen, but sometimes it's all about how you handle it. Piri Piri kitchen was great and I was able to trust in them that I had food for all my guests. Thank you again, and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back for more!“

“The Chef at Oxford Tavern pours love and care into every dish. During my many visits over the years, I have sat at tables or bars, in the new location and old, been taken care of by different servers and ordered a variety of food and drinks. I have never been disappointed.“

This is spicy so beware I love spicy so it was perfect for me, food was amazing and service was fast especially considering 1 waitress handling all the tables she was so good.“

“You can’t miss the Portuguese influence in Fall River MA. You shouldn’t miss the Portuguese Benedict at Harry’s downtown on Main St. The breakfast and lunch specials are numerous, the regular menu is lengthy, and the portions are hearty. No nouvelle cuisine here. Just good food and good service. The atmosphere is genteel gritty just like the city it’s in. If one of the convivial servers makes a suggestion, take it.“

“the food was very good...my fried seafood was nicely breaded & cooked. my companions had a steak sandwich which they liked with slices of garlic.yum. they were very happy & took half home. served with good pops & offered to refill the basket. friendly server&when we said we were going to the movies she made sure we got our check promptly dining room needs warming up with decor... all around good experience“
