“Our first visit to Moulin Rouge was memorable...in a good way. Our server was attentive and friendly, going out of her way to explain the menu—which was extensive. The food was tasty and served hot, and the cosmo and Cabernet were both superb. The only very minor issue was acoustics; there was initially only one other table occupied in the room, and it had a young woman with such a loud voice that we were privy to every conversation, whether we were interested or not (we were not). This, of course, was not the fault of the restaurant, but acoustics in that particular room were not great and diners with a romantic dinner in mind should try to find a quiet corner if they can.“

“Great family-run neighborhood diner! Food was excellent. Servers were very attentive and all standing at entrance to dining room to serve you. It looks like they are family. So much fun seasonal décor! Very clean. Highly recommend. Bring cash. Parking on side street.“

“We never made it to the old location but we have been going for date nights now for about a year. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is perfect! The music is always on pointe! And we have our favorite waiter, Phil, every time we go! He is as much the reason we go there as the restaurant itself! Great guy!“

“The food was fantastic. Specifically the surf and turf and the Mozambique sauce were excellent and the portions are very generous . The owner and her daughter were very friendly and the service was great. If you’re looking for good traditional portuguese food and a great family owned restaurant - I highly recommend this place. My family and I will be back for sure. Thanks for the great food and the great service.“
“Not sure if you see this...HOWEVER heard about the passing of HENNEY....and I am devastated!!!!!! There will never NEVER. “Easter lunch with the family. Owner Paulo is great in service making sure all his clientele are happy. Food was so delicious. Had the baked stuffed lobster and the stuffing with that garlic butter season sauce I could eat that with just bread. Parents did buffet which was such a value. Definitely going to visit more often“
