They provided the most BEAUTIFUL charcuterie that was well loved at the Mayo Wedding. We’ve used a lot of charcuterie catering around town, but this one was ~the big cheese~ 🧀.”

“Absolutely awesome sandwich shop! The mom and pop feel is homey and the owners are great! I have been coming here for years with my siblings and friends having grown up in the area and have never been disappointed. The menu is very large for a sandwich shop and has just enough uniqueness to satisfy the culinary adventurer, while still pleasing those with simple/traditional tastes. The location is convenient with close street parking and a free parking lot close by, and the kid’s menu has both fun and healthy options while still keeping in step with the funky-fresh cowabunga vibe. I would recommend this place to a friend or traveler and find myself doing so often when family or friends come to town. All in all great food, great people, great environment, and great service. It is no surprise that Cowabunga has been voted best in south county. They are!”

“So much better quality and fresher than Chipotle. The meat isn’t all dry and brittle like chipotle, and the people that work there actually care about the food they’re serving. This is the only place in the area that actually has spice! The Buffalo wings are actually spicy, they offer fresh (not just pickled) jalapeños, and their signature sauce has good heat to it. I always get a taco shell salad but my fiancé and I share some fries and they’re battered and double fried in fresh oil, never bitter. Definitely my favorite spot for quick, fresh Mexican food by far.”

“Had a reservation for 15 people on a Friday night. On top of the groups size its was for my 12 year old sons Birthday. Everything was excellent and couldn’t have gone better. Food was delicious and fast and despite our large group with kids, the server and service were phenomenal. I wish I could remember the name of our server because that man was a true professional.”

“Atmosphere is meh. A lot of tvs around with basically 0 seating. Pizza was delicious but the crust could have used some more flavor. It was a thin but sturdy crust. Had BBQ chicken and it was lacking a bit on the BBQ flavor like it was only applied on top.”

“Every thing is delicious! This is our FAVORITE Chinese restaurant. My dad loves shrimp lo mein . My mom loves shrimp and lobster sauce. I like the chicken lo mein and the egg rolls are very tasty. This is delicious food, a large portion of food and a good price.”

“Went in expecting all bakery items l and was blown away by the amazing Spanish food! I have never had Spanish food that was that tender and fresh, I own bomb smoothies in Johnston ri and the name speaks for itself so I had to try their smoothie and it was delicious! Then we couldn’t leave without trying it all we took cupcakes and an ice cream cookie sandwich to go and it was all amazing! There should be a line out the door at this place and it was by far the cleanest place I’ve ever been to. We will be back anytime we want Spanish food this is our new spot!!! (Providence location)”

“Stop #1 on RI FOOD FIGHTS 12th Annual Big Burger Blowout #BestBurgersRI with Carol Stuart after our every other Thursday trip to Boston….Carol orderd a “build your own” with mushrooms, bacon, and cheddar cheese w/sweet potato fries….I opted for the Seasonal Special Big Fig Burger, black Angus beef patty, pesto, Gorgonzola, fig jam, red onion, peppered bacon, all on a brioche bun…w/curly fries…

As an Uber driver, I drop people off and pick them up from this place a lot when I’m down in Narragansett driving and I’ve always wanted to come here…Thank you, RI Food Fights for getting them to join the competition… I’ve heard best burger in South County from many different people! There are more burgers on the menu that I wanna try and I’ll be able to call in and pick up in the future while I’m driving!”
