“TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. “First visit to Chomp, RI while visiting its newest chef and son in law, Max. Wow this place was hopping. Excellent atmosphere with hysterical signage. I like the window to the kitchen so you can see the chefs and it affords easy access to the plates for the wait staff. McKenna was our waitress and she was Great - attentive and helpful on suggestions. The food was Excellent! All their items are made in house - sauces, dressings, toppings, Burgers, Corned Beef etc!We started with the salt and vinegar Sprouts - oh the flavor and the bacon fat mmm, mmm!!! Then we had the Classic Smash Burger with a GF bun for our GF daughter! Outstanding! Then the wife had the Mediterranean Burger - really tasty! And I had the Truffle Shuffle Burger with Truffle fries- oh Yum! Flavorful and nice and hot off the griddle! Thank you for a great experience and a wonderful meal - We shall be back on our next visit to Providence!!!“

“Just came from Palmer River Grille, it's very nice inside and the food was excellent. My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. Our waiter Derek was awesome! Just want to acknowledge everyone there, the wait staff etc. are very friendly, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. I would recommend them to anyone and for sure we will be back. Thank you!“

“The food was absolutely phenomenal! However, I was there for a large party this afternoon, we rented the back room. And the manager scolded us for being out on the deck because “it was a place for dinning and not for us to hangout”. we were out there trying to enjoy the view, which I feel like is a big hit for this restaurant. Mind you there were no guests seated outside anywhere close to where we were standing and we most definitely wouldn’t have been out there standing in between any tables if people were sitting out there that’s simple common courtesy. Either way she was very rude about it instead of just stating that she’d prefer for us to be inside. I might go back because the food was so good but my only hesitation is to give someone any business who is rude to guests. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I don’t think I would have ever enjoyed working for someone who talks to guests the way she spoke to us!“

“I have been coming to this coffee shop for 15 years and it’s still my favorite place for an iced vanilla chai latte. When my kids were little we would get snacks and sit and color, and then I did homeschooling with my kids here for some time out of the house, and now we come to read, relax, and enjoy the baked goods!“

I called to voice a concern about a negligent situation regarding a customer and their animal while this person was dining in, and I was later called back by the girl that answers their phone, harassing me and arguing with me asking why I called and posted about it publicly. Want to gain an honorable reputation? Try treating your customers kindly and apologize when they are dissatisfied with something happening at your establishment, instead of attacking them.“
