“Discovered this place by searching on Yelp and was happy to find this place that's close to my workplace. I was looking for a birthday cake, but something a little bit more extra that just your average chocolate cake. I was in luck finding this Portugese bakery that had a marble cake with 3 cannolis decorated on top of the cake. They also have other cakes available as well. I was surprise at all the other bakery goods they had. Everything looks so fresh. I didn't get the other stuff just cause I know I'll be back and wanted to try it with my boyfriend. The cake was one of the best cake and cannolis I've ever tried. The cannoli was so fresh and was soft unlike some other cannolis where the shell is a tad hard. The marble cake was super light. I could eat the whole cake myself that's how good this cake is. In addition, the price is great! It was $25 and I was expecting this type of cake to be $50. If you're looking for a cake definitely get a cake from here.“

“My go to bakery for Portuguese rolls and doughboys. They make an amazing walnut pound cake which is loaded inside and on top with nuts. It’s baked in an angel food cake pan. It’s delicious. The people working there are always helpful. I make a huge strawberry shortcake using the plain pond cake. So moist. Like every place else, prices have gone up but you get decent product for your money. You have to call ahead for the walnut cake. The don’t always have it. I think it’s mostly on the weekend. If you cover it, it will stay moist for 5 days if it lasts that long.Parking: There is parking for 4 cars in front of the bakery. You have to back out onto amain road to exit. Free street parking across the street.“

The ordering process was straight forward and I love that I was able to place my order via email. The staff here was wonderful to work with. His cake was clearly baked and decorated with care; the owner and their staff definitely take pride in their work.My fiancé is a coffee milk fanatic and he loves the flavor of the cake. I’m not a RI native like he is so I’m not a huge fan of coffee milk, but the cake is still very enjoyable. I would eat it again and choose to do so. We also grabbed a little chocolate cream pie that was in the display case and it was delicious. I don’t like super sweet desserts so I could only have a couple bites of the pie but the flavor and texture was phenomenal.The cake is not overly sweet, but the frosting is sweet in my opinion (but it is cake so it SHOULD be sweet!). My fiancé doesn’t think it’s that sweet, but I’ve always preferred the actual cake part over the frosting while he can eat just the frosting on its own. The environment of the bakery was positive, and it was clean and nicely decorated. A huge plus for me is that this bakery is latex free, so I do not need to worry about having an allergic reaction while enjoying a treat!
