“I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was the best I've had since I've been here. The lemon pepper wings on the other hand fell a bit short but I think it's about my personal taste. They were quick and the food was hot.“
“Happy Garden is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Augusta. When my boyfriend and I first moved here we tried multiple different Chinese restaurants but this one took the cake in not only quality/taste of food but also service. We ate there regularly for the entire 4 years at the DCG and it never failed to be absolutely delicious. We frequently got the sweet and sour chicken combo which is a 10/10 and the beef/chicken and broccoli combo which was usually an 8.5/10. We also love their crab rangoon's, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, house soup, veggie lo mein, szechuan style beef, and much more. Really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! We always called in for takeout and the wait time was always around 15-20 minutes for pickup. Usually a younger guy always helped us and he is just the best!“
“Absolutely love this restaurant! I have been going here for 3 years and the owners and employees are so kind and helpful. I am vegetarian, and they are always accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.“
“This is some of the best Chinese food in the CSRA. The thing I love most about New Chan is their consistent flavor and generous portions. I would know been a customer of theirs for over a decade and Baby when I rave about a place I mean it, I'm a true foodie and MR LI'S chicken wings and BBQ ribs are heaven in a takeout plate. His fried wontons are so crispy and generously filled with cream cheese goodness they're a must. His staff is always friendly and helpful. If you haven't yet, don't wait anymore just get in the car and go live your best life!“
“Fish great but them WINGS ugly as hell!!!! I can appreciate a great presentation but I'm not so picky that it'll affect my decision to eat....but them WINGS!!- "it's scary, it's frightening"-foogianoAll in all they didn't taste bad. But they also didn't taste good enough to cover the visual. They batter them and the batter doesn't completely stick. It makes the skin of the wings look dark with light colored lesions. Just warning yall. Stick to the fish“
“I didn't take photos this time, but I will next time. Feeding a family of five, I ordered a half of pan pork fried rice with 25 Chinese wings and 20 lemon pepper wings. The lemon pepper wings were so delicious, better than any other lemon pepper wings I've tasted. The regular Chinese wings were good as well. Every other place I've ate wings at, the wings taste like fish, yuck! This will now be my go-to place for wings.“
“My friend tested positive for Covid I called happy China and ask them if they could take their chicken broth and add thin rice, noodles, and chicken since we eat there at least twice a week we know they have all these ingredients on hand and prepared they were the sweetest kindest about putting this together for me to give to my friend to help her get better and get nourishment, a true establishment that will take their ingredients and make something that I call get better soup I thank everyone that helped make this happen.. greatest place to get your Chinese food. There isn’t an anything on that menu I haven’t liked from there. I rate them at a 10+ For tasty food and a 10+ for speed getting the menu ready ❤️“
“Delicious Food! Polite, courteous serviceVery prompt in completing order, very clI ean ,however I did not visit restroom. Eggrolls were so very good, and sweet and sour chicken. This is my #1 choice for oriental fare in this area.I appreciate so much all the quality from beginning to end! Highly recommend!! Truly Number 1“
“Theres a few things I look for when I walk into a Chinese Takeout spot. I immediately knew when I walked in I was going to enjoy my order. I was greeted not by an assortment of employees, but by a family. To my right there's a fish tank with a BEAUTIFUL set of fish. This place also followed COVID guide lines. I had the general tso chicken with a side of vegetable lomein instead of fried rice. The taste was there, the authenticity was there, and to top it off it was super affordable. This place is a gem to the community here.“
“Listen.... Get the chicken-on-a-stick.... You won't be disappointed Very kind humans, an Affordable and Flavorful menu and always consistent (per my experience) my kiddos love this place as well, including their veggies! Plus, if you call in ahead of time, there's a drive through available to pick up( and only pick up) your order!“
“We love Ming Ming’s. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I’ve never ordered anything that I wasn’t very pleased with. We usually get 9C Almond Chicken and it is the absolute best almond chicken that you can get from any Chinese restaurant in this area. I also love their shrimp toast. My grandmother started my love for shrimp toast when I was a young child and Ming Ming’s shrimp toast brings back such great memories of my childhood with my grandmother when I eat it. I think it’s great when a restaurant can provide excellent food and excellent customer service like Ming Ming’s does. It’s an even greater thing when their food is so good that it can take us back to a beautiful place in time that allows us to have such wonderful memories of days gone by with our loved ones. Thank you Ming Ming’s. We will always be a fan.Dietary restrictions: The owner is very accommodating and can leave things out of the dish that you do not desire.Parking: There is plenty of parking in the front of the building and on the side of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: There is parking for disabled people and the entrance is disabled person friendly.“
“My first time here....I ordered teriyaki chicken ( not the wings) but the platter, price $9.95. The chicken was tender, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Nice size portions, enough for two people. Typically, when you get vegetables from a restaurant it is overcooked and way too much sauce. But this place to me was absolutely amazing. By far the best Asian restaurant around. The customer service was excellent. It is completely true, it might look like a hole in the wall but the food was wonderful.“
“The food was really good! We ordered general tsos, pork lomein, mei fun (rice noodles, angel hair), honey mustard wings, and wontons. I would say that the wontons could use morefilling and the angel hair would be better if it wasn’t all chopped up. But, other than that it was great food. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: They do have a dieters delight on the menu which is nice.“
“Stopped by here the other day for a quick bite. I rate this spot for what it is, which is your standard americanized chinese food done well with solid portions, fast service, and decent enough food all while being fairly priced. Essentially a better tasting panda express with bigger portions. I ordered the kung pao chicken with pork fried rice and it came with a large egg roll. The egg roll had a pork and cabbage filling that reminded me of the frozen pork and cabbage dumplings I often get at the store. The wrap was crispy but a bit on the greasier side. The kungpao chicken had pretty good portions with plenty of crisp vegetables including baby corn, bell peppers, mushrooms, carrots, etc. The chicken was pretty tender but it kinda threw me off that it was breaded/starchy, which I had never seen before with kungpao chicken I've had. Fried rice was a bit heavy on the soy sauce but cooked decently not raw or soggy. All the items were a bit on the saltier side overall, so I would consider subbing regular white rice for the fried rice if that is an option. Again, for it being a fast-casual, americanized chinese takeout spot , it meets expectations. At around 10-11$ for a pretty sizeable amount of food, I would definitely return again and try some other options.“
“The best kept secret in Clearwater,SC. The food is a party in your mouth! Everything is seasoned perfectly and you will be pleased with the portion size. Don't forget your red velvet cake before leaving bc there's no way you can eat it as dessert unless you take some of your meal home. Enjoy!!“
