“Flew in town for a training; im not even from here. This restaurant came up on google and of course I was nervous.I ordered the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and the potatos as my side. Im from Louisiana and im giving this five stars. It tasted like the food I have back at home. It was so fresh and flavorful I was highly impressed. The cornbread was clearly made from scratch and was sweet and buttery but not too sweet and was soft as hell. I wish I had known about this before Thursday bc I would’ve came earlier in the week when choosing my lunch. Definitely recommend. I wish I could get her recipe for the cornbread, the potatos and Mac n cheese!!!“

“The food was amazing everything tasted good. I looked this place up and found it on TikTok and I said I got to get this. I had chicken Mac n cheese and collard greens and black eyed peas and the corn bread was delicious. The lemonade juice was just right. O will be going back for something else.“
“They have gone up a little on their prices, which is understandable (everything is going up), but the quality is the same and the food, in my opinion, is very good. They have a very good selection and the catfish is very good. Their bar be que is also pretty good, a must try again in my opinion is the hash and rice, they make it the way it supposed to be made.“
“I had seen the amazing photos on social media so I had to come "taste" these photos; and this place did not disappoint! It's tucked away in a shopping center next to other small businesses. There is not a lot of interior seating so prepared to wait in your vehicle (I'm a fan) . The menu is easy to follow and all of the staff is welcoming. I like that when they give an estimated time for your order to be ready, that it's pretty spot on!Now to the food. The salmon was not dry, nor was it over a seasoned. The macaroni was awesome and the okra was fresh and crispy. Not a huge rice eater and it was a lot, I ate some of eat; it was also good. Definitely on the visit again list!“
“First time trying this place and first I want to say the food is delicious well seasoned cook properly. I had the salmon patty bacon liver pudding & grits. The only issue I had I asked for no cheese on grits and it came with cheese. So I couldn't really eat the grits and liver pudding cause it had cheese. What I taste it was very good!! The salmon was big moist and had nice heat to it. I'll eat here again most definitely. We also had the shrimp bowl with fish that's delicious too! I wish you success on your business!“
“The food is DELICIOUS!! If I could give 10 stars I would. If you love country cooking, soul food this is your place!! Make your own plates to go buffet style. All kinds of greens, vegetables, baked mac & cheese, turkey wings gravy, fried chicken, ham, various meats beef stew, steak gravy, pork chops. Michael has been a chef for decades his food is wonderful. He believes in lots of fresh cooked vegetables which is hard to find these days.“
“Get the oxtails , and I love their flavor . Their rice and beans is so tasty , I really like their collard greens. My friend guy likes the brown chicken yummy , and chicken patties. As you know they Jamaican Man lol so everything a little spicy but good spicy “
