“Best bbq I’ve ever had. Brisket was perfect. Even the side dishes shined and were delicious in their own right. Coleslaw had some jalapeño kick to it. Lived up to the hype! Highly recommend.

“Always a treat when I'm in town. Eating here for as long as I can remember with my nana who was born and raised on Sullivan's Island that's since passed. Had to stop in over the Thanksgiving weekend to get some of those rings and a shirt so I can always remember. Ah, the tears. I suggest stopping in to try if you like some good sweet tea and delicious onion rings. Thank you for your patience with going to look in the back twice. You people are amazing 🫶🏽“

“My husband and I have been patrons of Hugh Baby's for about a year. The place is pleasant and clean, the staff is super and the food very good. Originally, I would have given it a five star rating, but unfortunately, the food has become extremely salty to the point that it is inedible. Our takeout order was prepared quickly and correctly, however, it was mostly inedible because of the salt. I was able to salvage my fish sandwich by removing the crust. My husband was less fortunate with his burger. Maybe someone should speak to whomever is responsible for salting.“
