“This place is very impressive from service to ambiance to food quality. We were greeted by one of the managers who was amazing and started explain in the whole process to us super friendly. Then we ordered drinks while we wait in line it was around 30 minutes line but not bad as they have a bar where you can easily order while you wait until you arrive at the counter. Ordered a lot of meats and sides by the pound and boy it did not disappoint!! Cherry in the cake they took us to the smoker room for a private tout where they explained the whole smoking process to us that was absolutely fantastic!!“

“TEN STARS! I cannot recommend Hamby's enough!! We used them for catering our Wedding reception and the food was outstanding! If you get the opportunity, ask to work with Bellamy! She is super insightful when it comes to wedding catering, and guided us through the whole process with ease! Everyone loved the hors d'oeuvres and stations she recommended! The service was top notch!! Of course, we ended the evening with a late night snack of their famous tea sandwiches and everyone was ecstatic!“

“Wow! Wow! Wow! I can’t get over how amazing Salthouse was for us! Lauren was the absolute best to work with. So timely and kind and made the planning process so easy. The staff could not have been nicer! They took care of everything and allowed this bride to sit back and enjoy herself. Everything went seamlessly. My friends and family could not get over how delicious the food was, and neither could my husband and I. They had so many lovely options to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Everything we ate was absolutely wonderful. The presentation was beautiful. They truly exceeded our expectations. I am so thankful they were recommended to me and I recommend everyone use them! I look forward to dining with them again in the future, and in the meantime I will try my best to recreate their recipes in my kitchen.“

Dining In Inc Caterers • $
1645 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd, Charleston

“My Boss has a very limited fully Kosher diet (no dairy, no gluten, no grains) and was traveling to Charleston from New York City. The Kosher options are very limited in Charleston, so much so, that after doing an extensive internet search, I only found two, possibly three restaurant options. I called up Dining In and spoke with Marcie, who was very gracious in handling my delicate situation and extremely accommodating. The meals were delivered to the hotel room upon arrival and my boss, you know, the one with the discerning palate, was extremely pleased with the menu options and the presentation of it all. If you want certified Kosher, look no further. Dining is it! Keep in mind, they are NOT a restaurant, but a Kosher food catering company that will deliver small-portion meals.“

Rosemary & Rye Catering Caterers • $$$
2587 Ashley River Rd, Charleston

“From the tasting to the execution, our experience was top notch with Rosemary & Rye! The owner, Chris was very helpful as well as we were deciding on a caterer for our wedding. I never felt like I was asking too many questions or was annoying Chris or Jessica, even though I emailed a lot! My husband and I wanted to have food that our guests spoke about for years, and that’s what we got. So many of our family and friends have shared that this was the best wedding food they have ever had, and we couldn’t agree more!! The servers were dressed as if they were serving at a high end restaurant and coming from someone with a career in hospitality, I pay attention to those little details. Incredible service and food! 1000/10 recommend!“

Brick Lane Catering Co Caterers •
38 Romney St, Charleston

“Brick Lane catered our wedding of 50+ people at the end of March. I knew I wanted "elevated" Southern food. At the tasting, we were allowed to try several different options to narrow down the menu. We ended up picking 3 hors d'oeuvres (chicken & waffles, fried green tomato bites, pimento cheese biscuits) and 3 small-plate stations (chicken confit with grits, smoked mahi-mahi with salad, mac & cheese bar). They also accommodated my request of no beef or pork. On the day of, the presentation, temperature, and flavor of the foods were all perfect. The serving staff was very kind and Christy a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them!“

The Pampered Palate Caterers •
2245 Ashley Crossing Dr, Charleston

“Our family had the pleasure of having Chef Chris into our home for my daughter‘s fifth birthday and my mother-in-law‘s 75th birthday. Chris and his assistant did an awesome job with the preparation of the food, the plating and serving, to clean up. Every single course was quite an experience. Every bite of food was delicious and prepared impeccably, and the taste and flavor profile will be remembered for years to come. Chris’s attention to detail made all of us feel incredibly special and had flavor hints of the Lowcountry. Chris left my kitchen incredibly clean, and all the food was wrapped and prepared nicely for us to enjoy later. It was so nice to have a dinner well prepared from a professional and kind chef and then to have my kitchen spotless. As a busy & tired Mama, this was great. We most definitely will be using Chris in the future and recommend him 100 times over to anyone and Charleston for the surrounding Lowcountry area if you’re looking for a professional chef. His roasted cauliflower truffle soup and the fried green tomatoes with Panko, topped with cheese were my favorites!“

Roti Rolls Caterers • $
384 King St, Charleston

“They came to our job and served food all day. So I am representing at least 80 people when I say this. Their food is very very good. I have to start with the vegetables. Mom would have loved that. Lol. But I've never had Curry flavored vegetables so good. The broccoli was perfectly cooked after 4 hours of service. Everyone who ordered was very pleased with the food. I am so sorry I forgot the names of the wraps I had. But they are no bad raps in this truck. You can not lose. I find it hard find food trucks when I'm looking for them. When I go to Yelp or their website it never tells me the location they are at at the time I am looking. I can't even find the scheduling. I really wish they would work on that. Sometimes instead of going out the restaurants I would just like to take my kids to food trucks and go sit in the car or on the park and just talk. I think that's the coolest parts of food trucks. Not being stationary. The service is pretty quick and the ladies are very nice. I will be back soon“

“Came after the beach. The coronas were ice cold, the trio app was delicious (minus the huge chunk of avacado) the tacos were perfect. We all enjoyed them! We had churros for dessert. After having lukewarm beers and no taste tacos at El jefe the night before this place was great!! Our server Jess was super nice too!! PS Ditch the uniform idea! This place is casual, laid back and comfortable. All the servers looked put together and neat with what they had on! Keep your employees happy.“

Queen Street Hospitality Caterers • $
18 Leinbach Dr, Charleston

“The food was excellent. I had the Bogarden omelette with ham, my husband had a BYO breakfast sandwich & My SIL had the ham & cheese omelette. The portions are large enough to share, the veggies were fresh and full of flavor and there was a large drink selection. It is a small indoor seating area but a back patio and tables on the sidewalk provided plenty of seating for this unique and fun cafe. Coffee & water were self serve and plentiful but if you are a coffee snob/connoisseur… bring your own.“
