“Came after the beach. The coronas were ice cold, the trio app was delicious (minus the huge chunk of avacado) the tacos were perfect. We all enjoyed them! We had churros for dessert. After having lukewarm beers and no taste tacos at El jefe the night before this place was great!! Our server Jess was super nice too!! PS Ditch the uniform idea! This place is casual, laid back and comfortable. All the servers looked put together and neat with what they had on! Keep your employees happy.“

The portions are large enough to share, the veggies were fresh and full of flavor and there was a large drink selection. It is a small indoor seating area but a back patio and tables on the sidewalk provided plenty of seating for this unique and fun cafe. Coffee & water were self serve and plentiful but if you are a coffee snob/connoisseur… bring your own.“

“Brick Lane catered our wedding of 50+ people at the end of March. I knew I wanted "elevated" Southern food. At the tasting, we were allowed to try several different options to narrow down the menu. We ended up picking 3 hors d'oeuvres (chicken & waffles, fried green tomato bites, pimento cheese biscuits) and 3 small-plate stations (chicken confit with grits, smoked mahi-mahi with salad, mac & cheese bar). They also accommodated my request of no beef or pork. On the day of, the presentation, temperature, and flavor of the foods were all perfect. The serving staff was very kind and Christy a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them!“

“My kids and I go at least 3 times a month! Such good food!!! Their food is like eating back in Mexico at your abuelitas house. So yummy!
Not to mention the service! They always take care of their guests and check in multiple times! Sandra, Mari, and the dude behind the bar have the best service!! Not to mention that the lady that does the cooking gets right to it, serves everything nice and hot, and gives you plenty on your plate!

We have been blessed with many trips to Kiawah Island over the last 20 years. Thankfully the Kiawah Island Golf Resort folks told us about Chef Chip and his stellar team with the Pampered Palate.
Our 22 person reunion ages ranged from 2 to 80 years old. Every one was in love with the cuisine. The flavor profiles of each appetizer melded into a magnificent beginning to an unforgettable feast.
Every morsel delicious. Each display was artful. What a hit!!
Chef Chip also worked with us to choose prepared foods to stock in each beachfront Villa so that families had what they needed on hand upon 1st arrival. This team is seamless. They deliver what they promise plus SO much more.

“If you are planning a small intimate wedding ceremony & reception in downtown Charleston, Upstairs at Midtown is just your place. While planning our impromptu destination wedding- time allowed for only ONE visit, and one visit was all it took to know it was our spot! From the exceptional customer service and continuous communication with Sofie and her team- it was as if I was there everyday at the venue helping them prepare for our special day. Having to forgo the opportunity of a food tasting, we were a little apprehensive but let me tell you! It was amazing! Our guests ranted and raved about the food all night and for weeks to come. From the hand passed apps, displayed tables, and un-traditional tapas style affair, Upstairs at Midtown gave our guests so much to talk about. Our guests as well as ourselves, were touched at how attentive the staff was. Drinks were always full, and bellies were always fed. They really brought the “family” essence to the evening, and it was truly magical. The newly updated bridal suite on the 3rd floor was not there when we toured the venue and to see it there, day of was awesome! A nice place to slip away and get a moment to breathe, before during and after your night of celebration is simply another detail not missed. We would truly relive the night over again if we could. “This is one of the best Bojangles in the Charleston area. I almost always have a positive experience here. The food was fresh and delicious and all of the staff was super friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere is pretty typical of fast food places but seemed much cleaner in the dining area than a lot of places.“
