“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! “I stumbled upon this cafe when looking for a local coffee shop and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Even with a long line, my coffee came out quick. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that they only offered chai lattes pre-mixed with turmeric. I had a caramel latte instead and it was still flavorful and not too sweet.“

It was our first time...my Husband picked from Online Coffee Shop Listings. WOW! What a Beautiful Find! The loveliest employees that included Josh, our outstanding Barista, and sweet Olivia that placed our orders with perfection! Our Iced Caramel Macchiato Beverages were among the best we've ever had. The Cheese Danish we split was delicious! Warm, lively conversation abound with the staff and including one regular customer as well. “I’ve walked by this place SO many times and decided to pop in one evening with a hankering for ice cream. When you walk in they had so much to offer - from ice cream to local goodies, t shirts, novelties and homemade baklava. They had a good variety of ice cream flavors and I settled on their chocolate mocha which was delicious! The guys behind the counter were so nice and noticed I was in the food and beverage industry and offered me a 10% discount which was very nice.
This place definitely caught me by surprise and I find it to be a really cool local spot right by the market.

“I stumbled upon this place recently and I'm obsessed!!
We were greeted upon entry with friendly faces and they were very accommodating.
I tried the black sesame cardamom latte and was pleasantly surprised! I love that their syrups are homemade.
The bonus 🌟s for service comes from the beautiful latte art and the sweet faces that the barista drew on my kid's steamer 'coffees'.
The breakfast sandwich and every quiche we've had here is divine! I love the garlic aoili on the sandwich, something fairly small with a big impact.
I especially love the outdoor area. It's all gated in and perfect for parents to drink coffee while the kids play.
Overall, we can't wait to return!“

Currently sitting here and the baristas are laughing and enjoying their work, they have upbeat music playing in the background, the coffee shop is bright while keeping the AC at a great temp. While prices are not listed, it's basically the same you would pay at any other coffee shop, but you will have an amazing drink! It's absolutely worth stopping in! I was visiting from out of state and stopped here right after finishing a tour of the Charleston Museum. It was a scorching hot day and I was very thirsty, so finding this place was a lifesaver.
I ordered an iced Americano, and it was absolutely perfect—so refreshing and exactly what I needed to cool down from the heat. What really made this experience stand out, though, was the staff and the owners. They were super kind and treated me with the warmest hospitality imaginable.
If you are looking for a wonderful and cozy place to sit, relax, and recharge after a museum tour or a walk down King Street, I cannot recommend Tinto Cafe and Provisions enough. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!“
