“The food was typical Mexican food. The queso was a bit watery but still had great flavor. For tourists, it's hard to know which door to go into. Only the "out" door is labeled. Overall, it was a good experience.

Kid-friendliness: There were multiple kid menu options. Typical food and Mexican food options also.“

“I didn’t even eat here. I was having a tough time with a boot on my car outside, and an employee named Finn came out to help me. He was incredibly supportive, all while I was having an anxiety attack. No one made him do that. but if this restaurant employ as a kid like that, then they’re five stars in my book. Only 2 recommendations... deeper salsa dishes, and some sound absorbers needed on the ceiling. Was a bit loud, and would be difficult to have a conversation with another couple. “I could not recommend this place more. The food was fantastic, the drinks were phenomenal- this is the first $16 margarita I ever said was worth it. Don't let the location scare you off: this is some genuine Mexican cuisine with all the flavors. Victor took care of us and was super nice and very accommodating.

“This is the absolute BEST in CHARLESTON! 🌺 🌊 Me and my family love this place! Great service, food, and environment! It was so great there, I thought the check was going to come back so EXPENSIVE!! But NO, the payment was so quick and small! (No extra fees either) My small family of 3 ate HUGE meals for $30! And it was so good! We HAD TO tip them $40 for all of the good work they did 👏! I was so impressed by their food and service, that I HAD to visit Charleston AGAIN Becuase I loved their food 🍱! RECOMMEND 💯! 1000/10“

“For almost 12 months, my wife and I have avoided this place due to some initial mediocre reviews, however, we were mistaken all this time. We’ve tried 3-4 other Mexican restaurants in West Ashley, and another 5-10 in the greater charleston area, and Santi’s is the best of them. There’s nothing groundbreaking about the menu. It’s simply good Mexican staples that are done well. My wife, for instance, loves chili relleno and the stuff made here at Santi‘s is the best of any of the restaurants she’s had in the area. I’m fond of pork carnitas and chile verde, so I especially love the Puerco de guisado (verde sauce). It’s just what I need, when I want to go south of the border. A few things that make this better than other Mexican restaurants, are the genuinely good margaritas, made with fresh lime juice, not mixers. The tortilla chips are freshly fried for you. This salsa is addicting.
