“Great little place..we had breakfast croissants one day and lunch special which was a wonderful Carolina pork bbq sandwich. They are open on Sundays for lunch one of the places on the island. He has outdoor seating and plays jazz on Sunday which added to the beautiful relaxing “
“OpenTable worked well. Restaurant called to confirm and very nicely verified my special request. Our 5:15 reservation entitled us to deals on cocktails and starters. Our main server was Jenn. Top notch and well supported by other staff. Our pasta and seafood dishes were excellent, the shared salad was split in the kitchen and beautifully presented to our table. We finished with a shared Lemoncello Tiramisu that was perfect. We were treated as well as the well known regulars were. They seem to do a brisk takeaway business as well. 5 stars all the way!.“
“Extremely efficient- party of three received all our orders in the span of <10 minutes and staff were polite (as expected). Busy cafe-istique environment and lots of movement in and out of cafe. You could head upstairs and enjoy a much more calmer, less chaotic and more chill room, I honestly liked both.First time here, first time getting a vanilla latte, they did not disappoint.“
“We had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and the Sun Rise Benedict… AMAZING!!! Not only was the food great, but the atmosphere and the staff were amazing. Service was also quick. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!! Thank you Palmetto Bay!“
“I really like this bakery! Stopped in yesterday for some treats for dessert and got myself a croissant for the road. The croissant was so flaky, tasty, buttery, soft that I could've cried it was so good. My family enjoyed their desserts, they looked very tasty. The service was friendly. The interior is cozy. Having all those display cases while waiting in line is so tempting. It's a great stop for a baked treat!“
“This place is a true gem. The service is always super friendly and the food is sooo good. I would place the Road Runner Panini as one of, if not the absolute best sandwich in the area! (The house made ranch is absolutely essential for dipping, btw!). My wife is gluten free and they have a nice selection of GF crepes, as well as some GF baked goods. The GF almond cookies are amazing! Definitely worth checking out for breakfast or lunch when you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“The people here are so funny and so nice. The atmosphere reminds me of a coffee shop back home. Our brunch was fantastic and our coffees were even better. I came here on a visit from out of state and was so glad this was my first stop in GA. “
“I don't typically take the time to write reviews but if anyone deserves a raving review it's The Sugaree. I moved to Bluffton about two years ago and was in search of a coffee & pastry location to frequent and stumbled upon The Sugaree. The coffee is phenomenal, the food is always delicious, and Jo and Todd are always attentive, kind, and simply good at what they do.I look for places that feel like home and I've found that in The Sugaree. Would recommend to anyone and everyone looking for something amazing in little ol' Bluffton.Note to the tourists who should definitely stop in here, be patient and be kind it's a big operation ran by two great people who deserve that grace.“
“The place is really cut, the staff is friendly, and the food tasted very good. The only complaints are that the food comes in small portions for the price. The burrito grande is not very big, and neither are the bowls. Also, the wait time after ordering was quite long.“
“Absolutely the best donuts I have ever tasted. Many donut shops do fancy flavors but the base donut is subpar. Not at Alljoy. The base donut melts in your mouth which enhances the experience of the wonderful flavor options. Highly recommend stopping at the Alljoy donut shack in downtown Bluffton when you are in the area. You will thank me later.“
“Pretty good spot! The iced chai tea latte was so so good. Perfect amount of spice and it was just so so yummy. The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of vegan and gluten free variations. The service was good, they just seem short staffed. I got a belgian waffle which was pretty good, but $10.50 for just one waffle seemed pricey. It was super yummy though! Definitely would love to go back to try some coffee and pastries!“
“We had the best service from a sweet and kind server named Katelyn. She was excellent with every table she waited on. The food was all good too. The bakery items are a must too grab too.Parking: Parking in many lots near by as well as street parking too“
“First time visitor here and they did not disappoint! Worked here for the morning and had no WiFi issues. Had a mocha to drink and a Daily Mac to eat. Coffee was good but a little pricey for add-ons (I went to a 20oz with almond milk). The Daily Mac was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, and I would absolutely return here.“
“Amazing Local Coffee and Pastry Spot. We had a short trip to HHI for spring break. Rather than doing my daily Starbucks run, I decided to try somewhere local and Sweet Al’s did not disappoint. It is a small little shop in Cologny Plaza. Mocha was delicious, but the homemade pastries all looked amazing. The cinnamon roll was the best I’ve had, and the rest of the family enjoyed the donuts and danishes. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. It will be my go to daily breakfast stop when we come back!“
“When you need a low key breakfast, this is the way to go! Our server greeted us with a warm welcome and hot coffee. When our meal arrived, it was tough to be patient to allow the phone to "eat" first. We enjoyed every morsel we could. The hearty portions gave us a great start to the day.“
“First impressions of First Watch are lasting positive impressions. We were in a layover at the airport and decided to meet family for a quick late brunch. We Uber(ed) over from the airport to meet family who also used Uber. Greeted at entrance where hostesses offered to store our bags until we would depart. Loved this. Seated in an open area with a view of the preparation area, many diners enjoying the atmosphere and flights (the process of sampling/tasting wines). Wait staff was patient and attentive as we caught up with family member stories. Wine servings were pricey but refreshing. Nice menu selections that were tasty and original. The restaurant clients were clearly having a great time at the this venue. Before we headed back to the airport we moved to the rooftop for an exhilarating view of Nashville and we’re not disappointed. First Watch is a check it out spot you won’t want to pass up!“
“Please don't buy their monster cookies, they're terrible, you will go bald if you eat one. I'll make the sacrifice and eat all of them to save you the trouble. All kidding aside, Charlotte was a peach, her food and service are impeccable.I have Celiac and the offerings here for gluten free options is more than any place I've visited. She is up front ang honest about her kitchen and that is refreshing and comforting. She uses wheat flour in her kitchen, but she does all the gluten free first. End of the day the kitchen is scrubbed down for the next morning. Seems like as solid a plan as I could all for aside from dedicated kitchens.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free offerings here. Multiple options and styles of it too. Delicious.“
“Lovely atmosphere and amazing artwork on the walls. Coffee is fresh and delish. Acai bowls are super yummy and filled with so much fruit. The Chunky Monkey smoothie was out of this world. Staff is friendly and greats you with the best smiles. Perfect stop for breakfast before heading to yhe beach.“
“I walked in thinking I could buy things and that's not the case. They were prepping for a dinner and the market. Next time I'll read better and try to make a reservation for a private dinner. Both folks were kind and understanding given my confusion. They were confused also and said they didn't have a digital footprint. I showed Ms. Korea the yelp pictures and she said they looked good. Either way I caught them at the tybee farmer's market. The caramel sticky buns w were literally the best ever. We haven't opened up the kimchi yet.“
“My husband and I went next door to the North Beach Bar & Grill- We came in around 1-2pm on a Thursday and sat at the bar outside. Staff seemed short staffed and slow. Received drinks when we arrived and then it took a while someone to come back and check on us. We both decided to go next door to the Salty Pelican and were not disappointed! The Mac n’ Cheese bites were cheesy and spicy! The chicken quesadilla was also so good! Definitely recommend!“
“Love this little coffee shop as much as I love this island! Fabulous coffee and tea drinks (Dirty Chai Latte is my fav) and frozen lemonade my kids adore. The baked goods make the perfect addition to a morning or afternoon drink. The owners are such wonderful hosts who love their island and their customers. Leave your k-cups on the mainland, they’ve got you covered at School Grounds!“
