“The inside is set up nice. Modern look inside. Had the meatball parm sub. The sauce was good the bread was good not what I expect from a Italian restaurant most use Italian bread for hot subs. The meatballs were the frozen ones so many places have switched to because of easiness or laziness. I haven't made my mind up on that one yet. I give the sub a 7.1“

Service is excellent and friendly. Crowded Fri/Sat. Call ahead during the lunch hour to score a dinner reservation later in the week. First seating is 5:30 — easiest and best.“

The food was delicious! The manager was very present and active in the dining room. Overall a great dining experience! “Visiting Greenville for one night and needed a place to eat that we could walk from the hotel. After seeing reviews and asking about SBH BBQ, we went for dinner and were not disappointed. The Sweaty Pig sandwich was delicious and very filling. The chicken nachos had tons of toppings and were very flavorful. We also tried the briscuit/Mac n cheese egg roll and the sweet potato crunch. Again, delicious. April, our server, and Brock, the manager, were friendly and fun to talk to. From the time we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. Everything was delicious and just the way we would like it. We had the brisket, sweet potato casserole, and coleslaw, all of which were yummy. Even the iced tea was perfect . “Tokyo Cafe is one of my favorite Asian Fusion restaurants!! I have never had a bad meal here. I’ve tried several different sushi rolls, hibachi combos, fried rice and Panang curry. The portion:pricing ratio is amazing! My leftover usually last 2-3 still delicious days. Very reasonably priced. My favorite is hibachi filet—the filet is impeccably cooked and seasoned. It’s one of my favorite places to get a steak actually! Highly recommend!!“

“Good food and great service. Love the setting with all the greek surroundings. I had the greek salad and falafel. I should have sent the falafel back since it was slightly over fried. I realized on the third one when I cut it and it exploded into pieces. Other than that I will be back when in the area. I went between dentist appointments. Wished it was closer to my side of town. “This was my first time eating here. I had a goat cheese, pepper jelly, chicken biscuit that was quite tasty. Don't think I'd get the hash browns again but the sauce they served with them was good. Only gave service a 4 star as it's really a serve yourself as you order, they call you when it's ready. Also, self serve coffee and drink bar but food was ready quick.“

Followed up by the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection, and possibly the most flavorful steak I’d ever eaten. “I can’t say enough good things about Southern Palate Catering. We used their services for our wedding in April 2022. Most of the compliments we received from the wedding were about the food! We worked with Denise, the chef and owner of Southern Palate. She always got back to me promptly and was always willing to meet with me face to face anytime I needed during the planning process. My husband and I always dreamed of having Mexican food at our wedding. Denise already had an option on the catering menu for Mexican stations and it was just what we were looking for! They homemake everything, even the tortilla chips (which were amazing), and were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with anything I wanted. Denise made sure all of her employees knew I was gluten free and they served me and my husband the whole night so that we didn’t have to worry about taking the time to get our own food. They even packed us a to go box full of every food item at the wedding so that we were able to eat at our hotel after. They took all the stress off of us on our special day and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using them for any event and I will definitely be using them for any catering needs in the future.“

“I travel an hour to eat here. I would put it at the top of my list in the category of your standard Mexican restaurant in the southeast. At first glance, you wouldn’t think there was anything particularly special about it, but it the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend the chicken soup or the chiles poblanos with ground beef (you have to request this). Atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but feels comforting and cozy. “After the snow postponed a birthday celebration we had to scramble quickly to find a location to host a surprise party. From the first call the staff at The Flat was extremely accomodating for our party of around 50 people. They assured us they would bring in additional servers and made sure to reserve space, allowing a few decorations to be placed as well. Our group moves about but the staff never left any drink empty or anyone hungry, diving right in to the crowd to make sure we were taken care of.
