“First time visit (4/25/26); food was great. We had corn nuggets, fried okra, burgers and tea. Excellent meal. Just move here from Upstate NY and you cannot get this type of food where we lived in Schenectady County. As I entered the store I immediately sensed this is "just a good old country store." It is so much different than any fast food elsewhere near us (we live in Elgin, SC). I am originally from Arlington, TX and I've not had fried okra since in left TX in 2000. I'd forgotten how great fried okra could be. Now we must try their breakfast! Thanks for a great job, friendly service and excellent "normal" food.“

“Great place, I was really shocked that the salads were as good as they were. Normally when this place satisfies my appetite with bar food like a burger, fries, wings, etc., yet this time I tried a salad and was blown away. Clearly the salad selection at the place is a secret, but worth trying.“

“Hunter did an excellent job as our server. He was also bar tending. Hunter was efficient , personable and had a sense of humor! Black and Blue burger was excellent. Cooked as requested. Only disappointment was that there was no outdoor dining available.“

“I have had the opportunity to pick up food from this location twice in the past few days. Both times I was greeted and served by Austin. Such a respectful young man and was very accommodating and polite. He is the perfect person to have greet customers and set the mood for a good dining experience. Great job to whomever hired this young man. Good employees are hard to find. Please take care of him as he is certainly taking care of your customers.“

“Went inside to place a to go order. I had the Steak and Fries, along with 10 Sweet and Spicy wings. I ordered my Steak all the way, and it was delicious! I was really surprised of how flavorful the wings were, they were great! I also like the fact they put some of the wing sauce with the wings, that made it great for dipping. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was nice.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite before driving up to Greenville. My server Lindsay was awesome, food was surprisingly good. Much better than the WH by me. She made sure I had refills and was patient about me being a picky eater. Cooks did great, will definitely be back.“

“For a person who personally doesn't eat seafood, surprisingly their menu had a variety of non-seafood items, all of which tasted fantastic, were cooked perfectly, and had no cross-contamination, which I was expecting from a place that primarily serves seafood. The staff were very polite and family oriented; they made it feel like you were coming for a home-cooked meal, not eating out, very grandmotherly. The food is inexpensive, yet still tastes great. The facility definitely has earned and keeps its A raiting.“
