“Stopped here on an impulse, and I am very glad I did. The waitress/ server really made me feel like I was welcome. I've paid far more for worse food. And at least with the ribs. Compliments are due to their butcher. My only complaint is that it is too far out from where I live to come more often. My kid was also very happy with their meal.“
“We always bring our guest from out of town here for the real bbq buffet experience and on 04/20/24 the food was just as good as it was in the 80's. Food was great, live music was great and overall experience was great. Southern cooking at its finest.“
“This place is the little secret around the corner. When I tell you the seasonings are seasoning every time we visit. The flounder, perch, croker, whiting are all my personal faves. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK THEM OUT!! But not on Sundays or Mondays because they are closed ?.Also don't forget your hush puppies... And don't get a few because you will get home to eat and realize you should have gotten more.“
“We’ve been looking forward to visiting the TRH. It was packed but we were seated quickly. The waitress was awesome very attentive and didn’t miss anything in our order. I was delighted to finally be served a steak done exactly what I expected from TRH. I’m so grateful the inflation hasn’t affected the portions the prices and the flavors. Still authentic, super delicious steak with loaded potato and house salad. Let’s not forget the hot rolls with butter. They got a wee bit smaller but still hot and amazing. The drinks are spot on too.“
“This is the best BBQ I’ve had in South Carolina and I’ve been everywhere. Before today I didn’t like hash and avoided it but his hash is so delicious! I give them 5 stars and it’s because they deserve it. My only complaint is I wish they had sweet tea. Get it to go or eat picnic style outside.Kid-friendliness: They have Mac & cheese and bbq items that kids would like and it’s right next to a public park and playground.“
