“Food and service was good but wish they kept their social media updated. Arrive at 4:30 and were out of the Double-barrel and ribs. If looking to go for their ribs, definitely suggest calling ahead as this was a huge disappointment. The wings however were amazing! The white hot and their hot honey and blue sauces were fantastic! The pork rinds with Tabasco honey and blue cheese were so fun and tasty! They arrived at the table popping with deliciousness!“

“Was very good and moist for smoked meats. The greens were delicious and perfect. Potato salad was good and a hint of spice. Turkey was great, although only 2 slices.

Dietary restrictions: They were educated on gluten contamination and foods to avoid in their facility.“

“Cherrywood BBQ was a great place for a casual dinner on Kiawah. Prices are steep, but the food is very good. We also enjoyed taking dessert to go. There were sports playing on the TVs, and the atmosphere was not rowdy. There are beautiful golf course views of Osprey Point, and you'll likely see some wildlife. Highly recommend the pulled pork and Mac and cheese. It is a good place to go if you have kids with you.

Call ahead and make a reservation, but don't leave a message. Keep calling until you get a person and confirm your reservation. If you walk in before 5:00 and have a party of 4 or less, you probably don't need a reservation on a weeknight. But it wouldn't hurt. Large parties DEFINITELY need to call EARLY and make a reservation.

Parking: There was plenty of parking and a covered drop off. There is handicapped parking, too.

Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids eating here. Plenty of kid-friendly options, including chicken tenders and Mac and cheese.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp to the door from the drop off and the restaurant is on the ground floor. I would make reservations ahead of time and let them know how many of your party will be in wheelchairs so they can arrange your location to be easy in and out for you.“

“Always a treat when I'm in town. Eating here for as long as I can remember with my nana who was born and raised on Sullivan's Island that's since passed. Had to stop in over the Thanksgiving weekend to get some of those rings and a shirt so I can always remember. Ah, the tears. I suggest stopping in to try if you like some good sweet tea and delicious onion rings. Thank you for your patience with going to look in the back twice. You people are amazing 🫶🏽“

“My husband and I have been patrons of Hugh Baby's for about a year. The place is pleasant and clean, the staff is super and the food very good. Originally, I would have given it a five star rating, but unfortunately, the food has become extremely salty to the point that it is inedible. Our takeout order was prepared quickly and correctly, however, it was mostly inedible because of the salt. I was able to salvage my fish sandwich by removing the crust. My husband was less fortunate with his burger. Maybe someone should speak to whomever is responsible for salting.“
