“My daughter had her first prom this past weekend. I live out of state but I wanted to make sure her night was special. I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again! So refreshing to have such friendly and professional staff to communicate with!”

“The service and most of the food was amazing last Saturday night. My brother had the Wagu steak it had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only problem was it was chewy and the fat seemed like it did not break down. Our server was amazing and said that she would get a manager. 20 minutes later the manager came over with an attitude. We explained the situation and he seemed not to care. Said every once in a while that even the best meat could be off. He did nothing to fix it and walked off like we wasted his time. Very disappointed in the manager’s lack of interest. Very satisfied and happy with our server.”

“I remember come to Persis when they first opened, a few years back. I brought my daughter to try Indian food, after church today and she was hooked as soon as she melted the fresh aromas when we walked through the door. Everything was simply amazing. It good to see the place still in business and bringing amazing food with quality service. Thank you all so much.”

“My wife and I made reservations this past Friday. We were seated immediately at a very comfortable table. We had cocktails beforehand but noticed their lounge is spacious , we will be sure to have pre dinner drinks there next time. Our server was very attentive and helpful with menu choices. There happened to be the YOCO Trail week w/ special menu items at several restaurants in the area. So we were able to each choose an appetizer, entree and dessert for $35 each. We had the tortillas with lobster dip, a strawberry salad and they served warm bread with a tomato and olive oil sauce. I ordered shrimp and grits and my wife had the salmon. We also chose the key lime pie and chocolate mousse cake. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!”

“This was probably the best service that my wife and I have ever received from any restaurant that we have ever been to. I had an issue with the toughness of my steak in my penne pasta entree, and it was taken back with no problem at all. The manager came over and talked with me, which was a great gesture, to resolve the issue. We struck up a conversation that lasted at least 15 minutes. We were from out of town, visiting Charlotte for the first time and she really made our visit worth-while. I got the grilled honey chicken with the veggies instead and it was absolutely delicious! I think the managers name was Kristine, and the servers name was Savannah. They both were very thoughtful and kind and the restaurant was beautiful. Too often, people of different backgrounds and races are portrayed by the media as always at odds, politically, socially, and culturally but this visit just proves that we can all get along if we just take the time to get to know each other and hear each other out. This visit did more than just offer good food and service, but it also restored my hope in that people from different races and backgrounds are able to get along and love each other despite what society attempts to portray. Thank you for the great experience!!”

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.”

I had never been to a Panda Express before and was a little disappointed that the menu was limited so many of my favorite Chinese American dishes were not available. The server who helped me was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was tasty and the portions seemed fair for the price.”

“Well I had given this store a bad review because the last few times we have order from here our pizza looked a mess. We didn't have enough toppings nor cheese on our pizza. We saw a lot of pizza sauce. I was very upset. So I decided to do a review. UPDATE: Today we received a call from the manager Meghan. She was very polite, apologetic, & persist to keep us as a customer. That was a plus in my book for customer service. I called back later to order pizza & I dealt with a young lady by the name Robin. She was very polite & her customer service was outstanding! These ladies are an example of what more customer service should look like. You 2 were determined to keep a customer & this is 100. “Tega Cay Deli truly has the best bagels around—especially when paired with their homemade cream cheese. We also love their chicken salad and the RB Cheddar Panini was a pleasant surprise! We ordered extra horseradish sauce adding just the right amount of kick. Plus, even during busy times, their line moves fast, making it easy to grab a great meal without the wait. We are so grateful to have them in our community!”

“Hidden gem. We almost tried everything on the menu. Beef empanada, chicken arepa’s, fish taco, steak taco, carne asada fries, rice & beans, guacamole and all the salsas. They have a salsa bar with about 6 different salsas with varying degrees of heat. I like spicy but just their mild was so flavorful. I will be back!”

You can tell it’s made with care and attention to detail, not overly mass-produced. Today was actually my first time doing the pickup myself in Tega Cay (someone usually grabs it for me), and the process was incredibly simple and seamless. In and out, quick, easy, and well organized. Supporting a local small business that delivers this level of quality and convenience is a win all around. If you appreciate real sourdough and want something fresh, local, and reliably excellent, this is absolutely worth it.”

Not only did they respond within the hour, when I got there, they came out multiple times and made me feel like a appreciation customer. “I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.”

My main complaint is Shika the girl who answers the phone to take your order has a getto attitude problem!!!! Why is she answering the phone? “🍕We had a sneak peek of Emilio's Pizza in Tega Cay last night and it was delicious! They are still putting the final touches on the space, but they were welcoming walk in orders for pizza and wings as long as we promised not to overwhelm them. 🤣The venue looks great and when finished will have a large bar, plenty of tables and a counter for dining. We went with our go to pepperoni and sausage and it did not disappoint! Plus the ranch dressing was homemade and very good! It was also great meeting the owner, Ray. His energy for the store is infectious and he even jumped in for a picture with our pie. Excited to go again soon to try the wings, plus more of menu as they expand! Very excited to have Emilio’s in Tega Cay!”

“I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!”

Alyssa behind the bar was friendly and knowledgeable: and I say this as a particular customer when it comes to drinks. Charles working the floor made the experience enjoyable, great conversation and several laughs. Mixologist Olivia made a PHENOMENAL drink called obsession, a must try. I would recommend this location for drinks, conversation and an enjoyable atmosphere.”

“Karaoke Thursday was awesome. Several very talented singers were in the house. The draft beer selection seemed extensive however several of the options were unavailable. Surprisingly there were no seasonal options such as pumpkin or Octoberfest beers. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout the evening. One low point was the food offerings. We ordered several items and everything seemed to be frozen and not freshly prepared in house. Specifically the chicken strips ordered were of good quality however were processed frozen strips. The burgers are angus grade according to the menu but are frozen. One positive note is they have tater tots. All of the food received was hot and prepared as expected. The prices for the food and beer are reasonable. Overall. A good time and a fun time.”

The chicken quesadilla is one of our favorites, stuffed and full of flavor. They also have a tasty Hog Heaven Pizza loaded with pepperoni, diced ham, sausage, and bacon. It’s a mega personal size, great for pairing with other appetizers. Plus they serve breakfast all day and stay open until 2:00 am for those late‑night munchies! (Janet's espresso martini is one of the best I have ever had) We are locals, so there are lots of competing places with similar vibes, but the service here is truly unmatched. We frequent the Foxhole often simply because Janet and David are some of the best bartenders around. Exceptional service with staff who truly care about doing a good job and making their guests feel at home.”

“I wanted a goofy teamed cake for my daughter’s birthday and I across Medha’s Classy Cakes n Cookies. She made it a breeze to finalize the design I wanted and suggested on the flavors. A week before the event we had to change the date of celebrations, to which even though her schedule was full She did not step back, and delivered it on time. The cake was a super hit, how I wished to have ordered for a bigger cake for everyone to enjoy it. I will never looks for another baker than Medha in future. Thank you Medha!!”
