“Our new favorite BBQ place! The Brisket Chimney was out of this world. The nachos were loaded from the top to the bottom layer. Service was excellent from ordering, the bar, and the rest of the staff. Can't wait to go back again and try something else!!! The pictures do not do their food justice as we sat in the bar area.“
“I recently just went back to try out again and had a much better experience. Foodwas awesome and had me some what surprised and satisfied. I'd recommend this to family members and definitely friends no matter if they are coming into town or just looking for a great dinner.“
“Went here with friends. This is a first-time experience for us. We had a great waitress who explained how to order and cook food at our table. We were told we could order as much as we wanted and have 2 hours to eat. Any wasted food we didn't consume we would be charged per pound. The food selection was the K pot meals and the BBQ. We could order from both menus but $5 would be extra for the BBQ. Some of the meats such as prime rib or lamb were sliced paper thin, as were the soft tofu, all cooked in less than a minute and were not satisfying. The steak and short ribs were a decent size and fairly tender. Vegetables took the longest time to cook and I suggest to cook them first before one cooks thicker foods. I tried the mushroom soup and didn't like it. But my dining mate ordered the spicey Thai Tom yum soup and liked it. The chicken bulgoki just ok. Overall some items we ordered were satisfying ,others not so much. There was a sauce bar which also had French fries and small fried chicken tenders, all average tasting. There are vegetarian and vegan choices for soups, vegetables and noodles. Plenty of Beef, chicken, seafood , soy and pork items to choose from. Although the restaurant is clean the loud pounding repetitive background instrumental music was not conductive for a relaxing meal. We were glad we experienced this type of dining but decided once was enough for us. It can be a bit overwhelming when raw items placed on a small table area are waiting to be cooked. I suggest get a few items, cook and eat and order more as you wish Our meal per person for both hot pot and BBQ, was $35 .“
“Excellent spot ! Close to everything and the food was terrific. Very good customer service and the staff very friendly. The menu is very easy to choose from. Great variety, and all of our orders came perfect. Wait time, great, and a really good place to eat.“
“Authentic, delicious, affordable. The brisket, pulled pork, and sauces are all fantastic and the pork belly in particular is one of the best single dishes I’ve had all year. The smoked onion dip is fantastic too. We ordered three meals, two appetizers, and two desserts, and the bill came out to near as makes no difference $60. If you live near or visit Rock Hill and don’t stop by here you’re doing it wrong. Shelly, our waitress, was kind and attentive and had us completely at ease. 12/10, will Dixie Pig again.“
“Great service.. great food.. we got the combo x2. The turkey is better than the chicken. Both good but turkey was just juicier. Ribs had that competition "bite-pull". Brisket was soft and flavorful. Arnold Palmer was perfect. We had a great lunch-date experience. Cheese biscuits were great. Definitely got an extra basket to go.“
“We came in on a busy Saturday night with a party of 9. We waited for just a few minutes while they prepared our table and the hostess was very busy but very accommodating with our family member who was in a wheelchair. We got sat and were approached by Cooper, our waiter very soon. He was one of the sweetest servers I have seen in a while. We were a big party which can be hard, and we’re not exactly an easy crowd. We were celebrating a birthday as well. He was constantly checking on us, never low on drinks, food was correct and absolutely delish and hot. The staff overall, runners, bussing staff, etc were all super sweet and helpful but our sever, Copper was exceptional. He even forgot a few things (understandably because it was busy) and he apologized. Give this man a bonus!“
“I loved the barbecue sandwich and the hush puppies with honey butter. Our waitress was super nice. My husband really liked the ribs and fried okra. I also liked the aesthetics of the place, like the tile at the bar, and the plate my food came on was really unique. Convenient location as well.“
“How is there no review for this place???! Talk about slipping through the cracks! Dan Good Que was parked outside Birdsong this past Saturday (yes, I was at Birdsong again - lol). Do you hear that? That's the dinner bell. "Dinner is served!" I wanted something quick and delicious - I knew I wanted a sandwich - before I could even decide on the meat, Dan had already offered up samples (large samples I must say) of his pulled pork, smoked chicken and pork tenderloin. All of them were excellent - but the moment I tasted the tenderloin with some of his "Hickory" sauce on it, the decision had been made for me. The sandwich had a huge portion of tender pork smothered in slaw. Some might find the vinegar bite of the slaw a bit much but I loved it. Add to that a baseball sized serving of mac and cheese (the sandwich comes with your choice of one side) - loaded with cheese and butter - ooey, gooey, tummy, yummy. All that for $6.99 tax included! Dan also apparently won't let you tip him - he just enjoys making people happy with his food. Dan may just have become my "go to" truck at Birdsong now!!“
“Hana/Hannah was a great server. The environment was loud, but she was consistently precise and clear, still being able to present herself very well over all of the background noise.I made a mistake eating too many starters/appetizers but the chips and dip (especially the queso/cheese dip) were delicious! I also liked the pork rinds/chicharrones.I also enjoyed the few ribs I managed to eat inside the restaurant along with the collared greens before I got completely stuffed from the starters. Lots of good leftovers for the next day or two.“
“We had the pulled pork. Ample portions. The baked beans included cubes of brisket fantastic flavor. The Cole slaw (mayo) & potato salad tasted fresh. There is a variety of sauces. Their original is my go to. Tried the Swine Wine, apple cider vinegar base with hot pepper, mild kick. Mustard based sauce is good too. We left satisfied and with enough for a second meal.Parking: It's outside. Asphalt lot with lines. If you park in the handicap and your car will be sucked into a black hole. No really but it should.Kid-friendliness: Only if you have to bring them. They have highchairs. But really leave the home. They'll annoy the other diners.“
“Enjoyed our lunch here. Even had enough leftovers for dinner. The place was packed, and the wait time was 21 minutes. We had a great park, so we went back to the car and waited for our text message to say when our table was ready. I liked how the hostess had those scrumptious rolls hot and ready for us as we were seated. Great steak and was cooked well. Mac-n-cheese was ok...will get another side the next time. Glad we went!“
“I had the Pull Pork Plate with fries and Mac & Cheese. It was surprisingly good. The service was great! The only thing I would have liked, would be a privacy barrier of some sort between the rows of booths. The wall of the booths only come up to about chin height, making for an awkward dining experience.I can't think of anyone that would like to sit and stare at stranger in the booth next to yours on the row directly beside of you while you're trying to eat. It's an easy fix, but obviously, their design team chose not to. I'm sure it impacts their sales to some degree. So, my advice ask for a table instead of a booth, which is contrary to what most would like.“
“My fiancé and I come here almost every other weekend. Kpot just opened next door, and let me tell you one thing. Though kpot may be cheaper, 704 is QUALITY. Their side dish options and meats are much better. They take good care when making the kimchi and we have been nothing but satisfied when coming here. I highly recommend this place over KPot any day. If you are wanting to try kbbq this is ur sign to come here“
“This place makes me happy. I almost can't explain it. I would rather support a locally owned restaurant but still appreciate the local workers here. At least a half dozen things I've had on the menu have been reasonably priced and thoroughly satisfying. Service and atmosphere are positively nice.“
“I typically try to avoid chain restaurants; but, the client wanted to go. They were able to seat us quickly even though they were pretty busy. I was able to get my chicken sandwich grilled with a side of of shrimp & lpbster chowder. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the chicken was grilled and the chowder was flavorful. I still prefer local restautants. Yet, I'd recommend if you only have chain options.“
“Great BBQ!They also give you complimentary hush puppies which were amazing! My fiance and I had the pulled pork sandwich and fried pickles, everything was cooked perfectly. Our server was very attentive and never had to ask for anything, I really need to get better at remembering names lol.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and boosters“
“We came from out of town looking for something simple but different and tasty and we found it! Lots of friendly people, fast and delicious food and the first time my grouchy husband couldn't find a single thing to complain about! Now that's saying a whole lot ?“
