“This Long Horn is the best one I've gone to yet. I loved the spacious layout and great customer service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Even though WT Harris location is closer to me, I definitely prefer this location. We only had a light meal of the wings, shrimp and a side salad, but everything was good.“

“We just had the best experience at midwood smokehouse! Super family friendly. The server (I can’t recall her name but she was the one who was closing) was so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!“

“Sweet Lew's did not disappoint. While visiting my BFF, I decided this trip I wanted N.C Barbecue. After searching & comparing reviews we decided to try Sweet Lew's and it did not disappoint. We both had "The Sampler." I'm not a beef eater. Although, I found the brisket a tad bit dry, when drizzled with Sweet Lew's Brisket Sauce it made it enjoyable. The ribs were juicy and cooked to perfection. I tried my friends Red Coleslaw, not knowing what to expect, was the bomb. The meat was dry-rubbed with sides of Barbecue Sauce, which were vinegar base, but not overwhelming so. Overall, we really enjoyed our meals, so much that I purchased a chicken dinner to go for the next day and look forward to returning.“

“I only got curbside takeout tonight but it was amazing as always. I ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches w/ coleslaw and vinegar based-Eastern NC BBQ sauce. The potato salad here is amazing. Not sure what is in it but I have loved potato salad since I was a youngbuck and this is some of the best I have ever had. My girlfriend got a 3 side plate w/ green beans, fried okra, and cornbread. She loved it. She also got the peach cobbler and thought it was amazing. I highly-highly recommend trying City Barbecue if you are thinking about trying a new place. I will absolutely be back. I live less than a minute from the location I go to.“

“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! We ordered enough, but people went back for 2nd & 3rds! Banana pudding was the “excellent” cherry on top! They are our favorite BBQ place in town, especially the Brisket!!!“

“If heaven had a smokehouse, it would definitely be Mac’s Speed Shop. First of all, the brisket? So tender I’m convinced it went to therapy and resolved all its issues before hitting the plate. The ribs? Fell off the bone like they were tired of working. And don’t get me started on the mac and cheese—it’s so good I almost proposed to it. I highly recommend checking out Mac’s Speed Shop.“

“This is HANDS-DOWN THE BEST BBQ AROUND!!! Perfect bark on the pulled pork and smokey flavor. Great chicken, amazing brisket and the most tender, delicious fall off the bone ribs you will find. When I lived closer I would go 3-4 times per week and would literally have dreams about the bbq because the smoke smell would be in my hair and id be smelling it on my pillow as i sleep. I’d wake up craving the stuff 🤣 I even had them cater my wedding! Great pricing!!! This is not only the BEST BBQ around, these guys are just truly awesome people and a family business. Give them a try, your mouth will water for days 😎“

“Great place to go for a game. Tons of TVs, good food and drinks, and lots of other things to do while you’re there like pin ball, pong, shuffle board, and even a Photo Booth. Appreciate that there are alternate seating options like couches and high tables. Do be aware that AI flyers are commonly used here if that is a deterrent for you. Would recommend for a fun night out with friends.“

“I don’t usually leave reviews but the food we got Friday was so unbelievably delicious I had to. The ribs are smoked perfectly and the meat is so tender, falls off the bone and practically melts in your mouth. Their baked beans are so yummy and the potato salad! 💯 The potato salad is the closest to tasting like my Grandmas that I have ever been able to find. We will eagerly be waiting for the truck to be in Waxhaw again!!!!“

“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

“I like this place but they missed the mark last time. My ribeye was very over cooked. Our server sucked. He was a younger Hispanic guy. Nope, not good service at all. Not a good b experience. I'll be back because i know a you will do better“
