“Been to Corkscrew many times and have always had a wonderful time and enjoyed our snacks and drinks. Tonight, I went to celebrate a coworker. Having recently undergone significant oral surgery, I am limited to eating soft foods only. I was going to stick to wine and not inconvenience anyone but the waiter was very accomodating and said he had me covered. Stewart then came out with a special plate for me, featuring only soft foods and untoasted bread. He even brought out a flatbread for the table with one corner piece less toasted than the rest. Such a genuine, thoughtful act of kindness. I truly can’t thank him enough! Y’all have earned a customer for life. Stewart, you are a gem!“

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.“

“My daughter had her first prom this past weekend. I live out of state but I wanted to make sure her night was special. I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again! So refreshing to have such friendly and professional staff to communicate with!“

“I stopped at Firebirds today for a late lunch. The soup of the day was amazing (Tomato bisque) and a perfectly cooked burger. Most outstanding was my server Michelle. She was so gracious I felt like she was welcomimg me into her home.“

“My wife and I came here after our wedding yesterday! The decor and ambiance was cozy but also very refined. We had a few more people show up to our after-party than we expected in our reservation, but the staff just pulled over another table for us so would have room. The manager was heading out for the evening when we were seated, but he came back in just to congratulate us and thank us for celebrating with them. He also brought out a bottle of champagne for us, which was an unexpected but very nice gesture. The cocktails themselves were also delicious. We had a wonderful time and I'm sure we will be back again.“

My baby of 1 year old was a little anxious and making noises as anyone year old will do and we can’t control that… and two ladies giving my little one the middle finger was uncomfortable, unacceptable and inappropriate….. people out please be empathetic to other and specially kids, they are learning the way through life… society is harder enough already…. Pd: wish I could get pictures of these two idiots!!!!“

“Wow!! Last night we had dinner and ordered several things. The buratta salad was to die for such a beautiful dish to look at an even better to eat. The spinach artichoke dip was the most unique I’ve ever tried. I got the wedge salad for an entree it was one of the best salads I’ve eaten out and my husband got his go to shrimp and grits. Your food was on point last night and I felt compelled to tell you. I love this place so much and so happy we have it with all the limited dining places nearby. Fantastic evening with you!“

“If you love beer, then this is the place for you. Extremely knowledgeable staff who are also super friendly and can find a beer for even the most picky of people. They always have a pretty good size rotating beers on tap and an amazing selection of bottles and cans. If you are looking for a gard to find or specialty beer, there is a pretty good chance that Kit will be able to locate it and get it for you.“

“Excellent service is a rare thing to find these days, but the Southpark manager, Sharon, and our server, Allie (sorry if misspelled) hit it out of the park Monday night. I had a crazy request, and she and Allie not only fulfilled it, they exceeded my expectations and we had a PERFECT date night evening. The food and the wine were amazing, and I will definitely go back again even if just for the truffled cheddar! “Disappointed yet felt bad. Portofino has a lot of work to do to keep the establishment up. I would’ve left a harsher review yet I felt bad. The food lacked seasoning and service was severely long. The atmosphere was filled with a restaurant with barely any staff nearby. I believe with some work Portofinos can make a turn around. Good luck :D“
