“If you're going for lunch, try to get there around 1130 or after 1230. Parking can be cumbersome around noon, but once you get in, food is amazing, staff is great, too many good things to choose from! Even after moving away, I still come back to this place for work trips or even vacation. It's become a favorite stop!

Parking: Parking is on the side of the building and street infront. Does fill-up quick during lunch time. There is a street across from the restaurant that you could also use.“

Not only did he offer alternative menu options to expedite my meal, but he also went above and beyond by ensuring I was comfortable during the brief wait. Despite my reassurance that there was no rush on my end, he generously provided pastries to enjoy while patiently waiting for my dish to be ready. It's rare to encounter such transparency and genuine concern for customer satisfaction in the restaurant industry. The Junction Kitchen exemplifies what true hospitality means, setting a standard that many others could learn from. As for the meal itself, it surpassed expectations. “Early voted in Daniel Island so checked out Dragon Palace for Lunch based on a recommendation from a friend.

Overall it was good but nothing to knock your socks off. I wouldn’t drive from Goose Creek to DI for it.

The Sweet and Sour Chicken was good. Nice larger pieces of Chicken and the batter was on point, crunchy light and fluffy.

The Eye Kew was also good. Had good flavor but the highlight was the Beef as it was so tender.

Dim Sum platter was great. You could tell these were hand made. Five different pieces, the Shu Mai and the Pork were the best. Very light, but flavorful Dumpling Sauce.

The Fried Rice was lacking, just Rice and Soy Sauce. Nothing else to provide flavor. No vegetables, no seasoning.

The Egg Roll was also lacking. Essentially a Fried Cabbage Roll as there was a tiny amount of pork in it. To the point I had to thoroughly search for those red Pork pieces after each bite. The Duck Sauce that was served with it was great though.

These were Lunch Specials but added the Dim Sum and the Egg Roll. Portions were solid for the price of $12.99 per special. Dim Sum was $8.99 and the Egg Roll was $2.75.

It was nice to see a sit down Chinese Restaurant rather than the typical Take Out Style places, especially with some of the originals in the area closing.

As I said before, the meal was good but nothing to go crazy about. Highlights were the Dim Sum and the Beef in the Rib Kew. Everything else was average at best.

I will give them credit for a wide range of items on the menu that you wouldn’t get at a typical Chinese Take Out Style place.“

“$39.00 for 2 hamburgers a large drink and a shake. Good food but almost $40 for 2 burgers and only one was a double. I'm sorry buy your food is good but hamburger at grocery store is $3.98 a pound to us. And 3 patties at a quarter pound each isn't even a full pound. I can understand that there are lots of costs involved with a restaurant for sure but 40 bucks is just not something im going to do again for hamburgers. You may see a backlash from consumers in general thanks to our great economy that put us all here.“

“First let me say, the pizza was delicious!! Thin, crispy crust…the kind of yumminess you get from a wood burning oven. The perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and flavor. I don’t know what it’s like normally, but it was very slow and I for sure thought that the service would have been better…it was meh. Pretty cool atmosphere, but I was sitting at the bar and I can’t say I appreciated the bartender coming on duty spraying cleaning supplies and pouring bleach while I sat there. Don’t get me wrong, I love the smell of cleat, but I don’t enjoy inhaling the cleaning spray while I eat. If I come back, I’ll sit at a table to enjoy a delicious pizza.“

“I have been a member at Mixson for over 2 years and absolutely LOVE coming here! Such a wonderful place for the kids to swim and play outside with so many fun kids activities often planned for them! Not to mention the lifelong friends I’ve made since becoming a member! They love to have events for adults also like oyster roasts and awesome bands and DJs playing! So much fun!!! The staff is always so kind to everyone and always making sure the members are happy. I highly recommend this club to anyone! Mixson is my Cheers!
