“First off, great staff!! They are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating.You are always greeted with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious. I always get at least 2 dozen raw oysters to start with a side of their cheesy grits, that taste like they came from my grandma's kitchen. I've been going there for years and have enjoyed every meal from sushi to steak, to smothered chicken to scallops. The food is phenomenal. Clearly the chefs take pride in every meal they prepared. Delicious food, portioned and priced right. The GBOH never disappoints. The backbone of the operation is Diane & Katie. They are always there and make you feel like family. I live in Florida and when I'm in South Carolina, after stopping to see family, my next stop is GBOH!!! LOVE IT!!”

“I should have posted here years ago. I have just read the reviews for the first time at the time of my writing this review.I know that I am recognized there and I recognize some of the employees. I have purchased from here many times and many different types fish and shellfish. Usually, I am getting sashimi grade Ahi and Mahi, which has always been outstanding. I let them know what I intend on making and the shape and sizes prepared for me have been thought out.Always great quality and great prices. I'm buying for myself not a restaurant. I like that I don't have to purchase large quantities or whole fish.I call ahead and get my order prepared sometimes a day ahead, sometimes the same day. I'm not a restaurant so I understand that they are really doing me a service; I am not keeping them in business. Many wholesalers in the industry don't want to deal with the public for the very reason that is expressed in some of the negative reviews. Fisherman can't always go out, they don't always catch what they want or know how much they'll catch. The markets don't always have what you want because they only have fresh catches. Big orders and regular customers come first. And if you are willing to eat fish that has been out of the water for days - go to the supermarket. The staff has always been polite and appropriate; I don't actually want a hug or need a new BFF. I want fish fit for making my own sushi and I have been using the fish from G.U.S.T.O. at least three meals a week.”

“We don't often have Mexican and had not found a good Mexican restaurant in the Upstate, but on whim stopped at Guacamole. This restaurant provided good service, with reasonable dispatch, and generally very tasty food. The fresh guacamole made at the table was very satisfying. There is a considerable variety of dishes, and we found the Trio Tacos good, and particularly the chicken taco. The only real negative was that we found the black bean sides not so good. The cost was very reasonable. We will return.”

“What a wonderful and lively spot! The French owner is extremely friendly and does a good job with maintaining the quality of the food! I stopped in for the first time to enjoy a chocolate croissant and latte for breakfast. Ended up ordering that and then some! Ham & cheese croissant with a delicious salad. It was extremely delicious.

Also ordered a hazelnut vanilla latte which was delicious. Was given a macaron to sample, too!

French music playing and it made the experience more pleasant! A few French songs I regularly rotate, too, on my Spotify playlist. Highly recommend!

“My go to Sushi restaurant on this side of Greenville. Every time we eat here the fish is excellent and fresh! They have the best sashimi & nigiri I’ve had in this area. The miso soup is yummy. I particularly like the sushi and sashimi combo options, and it’s a great bang for your buck.
Apps are great as well, with notable standouts in the cream cheese wontons & gyoza.
I prefer to do takeout typically, but the dining room is nice & they always have a place to sit down while waiting for my take out!”

So many options to choose from! They even had a gluten-free pastry that looked amazing. Can’t wait to go back next week! Please support this local business with meetings, baby showers, gatherings. It is truly a delight to be surrounded with the fun cowboy ambience theme, not to mention all the small details… like the vintage glasses from the depression era. “I travel an hour to eat here. I would put it at the top of my list in the category of your standard Mexican restaurant in the southeast. At first glance, you wouldn’t think there was anything particularly special about it, but it the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend the chicken soup or the chiles poblanos with ground beef (you have to request this). Atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but feels comforting and cozy. Staff has always been very friendly in all my visits. Highly recommend.”

“We moved to this area over 3 years ago and was so excited there was a local coffee shop. Everyone that has served us is so incredibly nice. My children love picking a treat from their baked goods and the coffee is amazing. It's super convenient with the drive-thru and the atmosphere is so relaxing if you want to just hang around. What truly stood out to me, though, was the heart behind this business. I love that Red Clay Coffee stands firm for Jesus and isn’t afraid to share their faith. It’s so refreshing to see a local business not only serve great coffee but also represent strong Christian values. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Never ate at this specific location, I went for an interview. But even without consumption, the visit was amazing. The staff was friendly, inviting, and helpful. They were packed with smiling faces and the service was so quick. People normally wait for 7 to 10 minutes for a fresh burger but not here. The drive-thru was moving cars every minute or so. Truly an amazing place. Will be eating here soon. I've eaten at other various locations in the area like Lauren's Rd and Woodruff which were 5 stars imo, hopefully, this one is the same.

“Tokyo Cafe is one of my favorite Asian Fusion restaurants!! I have never had a bad meal here. I’ve tried several different sushi rolls, hibachi combos, fried rice and Panang curry. The portion:pricing ratio is amazing! My leftover usually last 2-3 still delicious days. Very reasonably priced. My favorite is hibachi filet—the filet is impeccably cooked and seasoned. It’s one of my favorite places to get a steak actually! Highly recommend!!”

It’s good but no salsa was provided no chips served no tortillas with the plate But hey I could’ve ask right. Just dipped in for a quick lunch. I’ll come back for happy hour and check out the margaritas and try an app or couple of street tacos. Again the food was good but a far left field on the taste profiles from what I’m accustomed too. “DOES *NOT* RECOMMEND I came in on 4/2/24 at 4:30 and paid 42.00 dollars for a family pack and an extra side of meat. We sat down and waited for our order. After about 10 minutes of waiting, an elderly lady probably in her 60's told us we cannot stay and that it was takeout only. She made an assumption that we were even planning on dining in because not once were we asked. She then proceeded to say that they didn't charge us for dine in, so we politely asked if we could pay the extra fee for the plates and dine in costs. She was extremely rude and just kept arguing with us. Even after my wife said, "that's fine we will leave, but can we please get a refund since you're obviously not bringing us our food," she continued to make us feel extremely unwelcome and essentially kicked us out. She just kept saying, "sorry this is strict policy you need to leave." My wife asked for a refund again, and the kid that originally took our order finally gave us the refund.. I don't usually feel discriminated against but she had a personal issue with me and my kids (who were being extremely respectful and just drinking their lemonade the whole time). I will not dine here again. I will not support any business that it partners with. I would highly appreciate hearing back from the owner who we were told was not currently in.”

I was a bit upset that my order had been incorrect. But you have to understand: this was my third time trying to get the classic spicy tuna since the menu change. It has been quite frustrating. To be clear, I don't blame the cashier or the chef at all. I blame the decision to change the menu.”

“We’ve taken out from this location a few times now; it seems the best one in the area. Food is always good. We get the South of the Border rice bowls, so can’t speak specifically of any other item.

A bit ago my wife picked up an order and got home and they forgot all the chicken. Was a new worker, guy on phone was so apologetic and nice, put our info down and said next visit we can have anything we want for free….4 bowls, sides, drinks, etc, whatever. I said all that was not necessary but appreciated it. Fast forward to now, we’ve been traveling a lot so haven’t been in for a couple of months. I call up and they have no record of our info. I don’t think that guy worked there anymore, and for what he offered I can understand why…lol But the guy on the phone was very nice and said it was fine, but had to check with the boss. Came back, it was OK’ed, and we got two small bowls free. Very nice considering he was just taking my word. We’ll definitely return.”
