“First off, great staff!! They are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating.You are always greeted with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious. I always get at least 2 dozen raw oysters to start with a side of their cheesy grits, that taste like they came from my grandma's kitchen. I've been going there for years and have enjoyed every meal from sushi to steak, to smothered chicken to scallops. The food is phenomenal. Clearly the chefs take pride in every meal they prepared. Delicious food, portioned and priced right. The GBOH never disappoints. The backbone of the operation is Diane & Katie. They are always there and make you feel like family. I live in Florida and when I'm in South Carolina, after stopping to see family, my next stop is GBOH!!! LOVE IT!!”

“I went to a Crumble store (In Greer) for the very first time to get some birthday cookies. I don't know the the young man's name (I believe he was the manager) but I want to give him 5 stars for being so helpful, so kind and patient with me. He went into detail on how to order, how to order things in the future, how cookies were made in house and even gave me a sample. The best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Well done Greer Crumble! I will absolutely make more cookie purchases from this store and more than likely this store alone because of the employees.”

“I should have posted here years ago. I have just read the reviews for the first time at the time of my writing this review.I know that I am recognized there and I recognize some of the employees. I have purchased from here many times and many different types fish and shellfish. Usually, I am getting sashimi grade Ahi and Mahi, which has always been outstanding. I let them know what I intend on making and the shape and sizes prepared for me have been thought out.Always great quality and great prices. I'm buying for myself not a restaurant. I like that I don't have to purchase large quantities or whole fish.I call ahead and get my order prepared sometimes a day ahead, sometimes the same day. I'm not a restaurant so I understand that they are really doing me a service; I am not keeping them in business. Many wholesalers in the industry don't want to deal with the public for the very reason that is expressed in some of the negative reviews. Fisherman can't always go out, they don't always catch what they want or know how much they'll catch. The markets don't always have what you want because they only have fresh catches. Big orders and regular customers come first. And if you are willing to eat fish that has been out of the water for days - go to the supermarket. The staff has always been polite and appropriate; I don't actually want a hug or need a new BFF. I want fish fit for making my own sushi and I have been using the fish from G.U.S.T.O. at least three meals a week.”

“The Escape Lounge is a great place to wait for a flight. When a flight was delayed for hours, I was grateful to have the opportunity to visit the GSP Escape Lounge. The food was excellent, and there were several special-diet-friendly options! Kerry was an excellent host! Not only is she very friendly and makes any visit more enjoyable, she is so imaginative and creative with her drink recipes.”

“My go to Sushi restaurant on this side of Greenville. Every time we eat here the fish is excellent and fresh! They have the best sashimi & nigiri I’ve had in this area. The miso soup is yummy. I particularly like the sushi and sashimi combo options, and it’s a great bang for your buck.
Apps are great as well, with notable standouts in the cream cheese wontons & gyoza.
I prefer to do takeout typically, but the dining room is nice & they always have a place to sit down while waiting for my take out!”

“I had the pleasure of visiting Vintage Saddle Coffee Co. this morning. It's truly a precious little hidden gem in Greer. The shop is adorably decorated. It's warm and inviting. The baristas are so sweet and welcoming and friendly. Their menu has so many scrumptious options. I ended up ordering two lattes and they were truly delicious! I can't wait to visit again!”

“I travel an hour to eat here. I would put it at the top of my list in the category of your standard Mexican restaurant in the southeast. At first glance, you wouldn’t think there was anything particularly special about it, but it the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend the chicken soup or the chiles poblanos with ground beef (you have to request this). Atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but feels comforting and cozy. Staff has always been very friendly in all my visits. Highly recommend.”

“My husband and I stopped by Red Clay Coffee for the first time today, and we were so impressed! I ordered The Enchanted Garden a blend of matcha, blackberry, lavender, and mocha, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was unique, smooth, and refreshing.

What truly stood out to me, though, was the heart behind this business. I love that Red Clay Coffee stands firm for Jesus and isn’t afraid to share their faith. It’s so refreshing to see a local business not only serve great coffee but also represent strong Christian values. We’ll definitely be back!”

“My Husband and I just popped into Peggys Diner on our way to NC. We were greeted by a very funny gentleman who made me laugh and invited us to sit wherever we liked. The very sweet server greeted us and we placed our order which was the special of the day. The fried chicken 🍗 and hushpupies were delicious and flavorful!! My Husband had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes 🥔 and it was really wonderful and delicious. It was truly a wonderful find and we will definitely be back the next time we drive through town.”

Had our usual and it did NOT disappoint. We did not have a need for anything while we were there. The drinks were prompt and full the whole time. Checkout was a a breeze and friendly. I have been to many Waffle Houses and most have been great, and one absolutely horrible. This one is the absolute best! Thanks Richard for making our breakfast great!! “DOES *NOT* RECOMMEND I came in on 4/2/24 at 4:30 and paid 42.00 dollars for a family pack and an extra side of meat. We sat down and waited for our order. After about 10 minutes of waiting, an elderly lady probably in her 60's told us we cannot stay and that it was takeout only. She made an assumption that we were even planning on dining in because not once were we asked. She then proceeded to say that they didn't charge us for dine in, so we politely asked if we could pay the extra fee for the plates and dine in costs. She was extremely rude and just kept arguing with us. Even after my wife said, "that's fine we will leave, but can we please get a refund since you're obviously not bringing us our food," she continued to make us feel extremely unwelcome and essentially kicked us out. She just kept saying, "sorry this is strict policy you need to leave." My wife asked for a refund again, and the kid that originally took our order finally gave us the refund.. I don't usually feel discriminated against but she had a personal issue with me and my kids (who were being extremely respectful and just drinking their lemonade the whole time). I will not dine here again. I will not support any business that it partners with. I would highly appreciate hearing back from the owner who we were told was not currently in.”

“I love Joy of Tokyo to begin with. However, this one is exceptional. I came in and communicated that I wasn’t able to read the menu (I just had to move down the counter a little bit in order to see better and said this to make me walking away a bit less awkward). The kind guy at the front voluntarily started explaining the menu and reading each item very professionally, respectfully, and patiently. I was blown away by the kind gesture, which is the essence things that make dining anywhere a stellar experience.

It's a bit small inside but otherwise, great place to come grab a bite for sushi hibachi, fried rice, bentos, and so on. They even have delicious chia tea and boba! Cauliflower bites were buffalo flavored. Had good flavored but the texture was very soft and wished they had some crunch.

They were out of a few condiments/toppings for the burger but it was delicious without them.

They were busy and therefore slow service but I don’t hold that against them. They were a little short staffed for the rush.

“Fried Rice Worth the Return Trip

Currently ranking as my #1 or #2 fried rice in Greenville, this spot really surprised me. The portion size for the main plates is a little off for the price, but the real value comes from the rest of the combination platter. Around $12–$13 for soup, an appetizer, and a full meal. Fairly good for 2025.

The food overall was great, but the fried rice is what truly stands out. Bold, salty, and loaded with extras, it puts the usual “rice and a few peas” approach to shame. The interior feels outdated, but the kindness of the staff more than makes up for it. I’ll be back for the fried rice alone.. it’s that good from my personal preference.”
