“First off, great staff!! They are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating.You are always greeted with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious. I always get at least 2 dozen raw oysters to start with a side of their cheesy grits, that taste like they came from my grandma's kitchen. I've been going there for years and have enjoyed every meal from sushi to steak, to smothered chicken to scallops. The food is phenomenal. Clearly the chefs take pride in every meal they prepared. Delicious food, portioned and priced right. The GBOH never disappoints. The backbone of the operation is Diane & Katie. They are always there and make you feel like family. I live in Florida and when I'm in South Carolina, after stopping to see family, my next stop is GBOH!!! LOVE IT!!“

“I should have posted here years ago. I have just read the reviews for the first time at the time of my writing this review.I know that I am recognized there and I recognize some of the employees. I have purchased from here many times and many different types fish and shellfish. Usually, I am getting sashimi grade Ahi and Mahi, which has always been outstanding. I let them know what I intend on making and the shape and sizes prepared for me have been thought out.Always great quality and great prices. I'm buying for myself not a restaurant. I like that I don't have to purchase large quantities or whole fish.I call ahead and get my order prepared sometimes a day ahead, sometimes the same day. I'm not a restaurant so I understand that they are really doing me a service; I am not keeping them in business. Many wholesalers in the industry don't want to deal with the public for the very reason that is expressed in some of the negative reviews. Fisherman can't always go out, they don't always catch what they want or know how much they'll catch. The markets don't always have what you want because they only have fresh catches. Big orders and regular customers come first. And if you are willing to eat fish that has been out of the water for days - go to the supermarket. The staff has always been polite and appropriate; I don't actually want a hug or need a new BFF. I want fish fit for making my own sushi and I have been using the fish from G.U.S.T.O. at least three meals a week.“

“What an amazing experience. My wife and I celebrated our 9 year engagement anniversary this evening and we were blown away! The food was phenomenal and the service was absolutely top notch! Luke, our server, was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond any expectation we could have dreamed of. I've never had someone who was so committed to making our experience truly special! You're one of a kind my guy! Kaden did an excellent job ensuring we were well taken care of! The manager, David I believe was his name, was attentive and checked in multiple times to ensure we were having a great time and enjoying our experience. The food and drinks were excellent! “Fried Rice Worth the Return Trip

Currently ranking as my #1 or #2 fried rice in Greenville, this spot really surprised me. The portion size for the main plates is a little off for the price, but the real value comes from the rest of the combination platter. Around $12–$13 for soup, an appetizer, and a full meal. Fairly good for 2025.

The food overall was great, but the fried rice is what truly stands out. Bold, salty, and loaded with extras, it puts the usual “rice and a few peas” approach to shame. The interior feels outdated, but the kindness of the staff more than makes up for it. I’ll be back for the fried rice alone.. it’s that good from my personal preference.“

“We hadn’t been for a while and went Wednesday night. Sat at the bar as usual and had fun chat with people around us. The bartenders are efficient and make excellent cocktails. To start we shared the wedge salad. It was very fresh with lots of bacon and blue cheese. Wife went for the salmon which is excellent there. I am not a huge salmon fan,but this is the only restaurant that I will order it. I went with the chicken Marsala. It was a little different take on this meal and was excellent. Super comfort food. We’ll do our best not to let too much time pass before returning.“

“Arrived 10 minutes early had our booth ready. Temperature of the room was good. Food was great. Had lobster stuffed shrimp. Generous portion, 6 shrimp, vegetable and rice. All delicious. In addition, enjoyed their corn chowder and lobster soup. All in all a very enjoyable dinning experience.“

They have Signature Bowls you can choose from if you aren’t trying to make all those decisions in your first poke bowl experience. “My family of 6 decided on this place because of the outside dining and the playground! We couldn’t have choose a better dinner! The kids had fun with the shark drinks and the make your own sundae’s to complete the dinner! As adults we could sit back and enjoy our drinks and dinner while the kids kept busy with the playground! “One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful. We started with an appetizer of the thick cut bacon which was to die for. Followed up by the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection, and possibly the most flavorful steak I’d ever eaten. We usually do not get desert, but everything so far was so delicious that we could not pass it up. We tried the white chocolate banana cream pie and the butter cake, and an espresso martini. OMG is all I can think to say. Stefan was our waiter, and he was amazing with his detailed descriptions and recommendations. We will definitely be back, and will hopefully be waited on by Stefan again.“

“We come here almost every month on a Sunday and we took my mom here 3-4 times when she was here visiting from the Philippines. Today, it was just me, my husband and my kids as my mom already went back home. The server immediately asked and mentioned my mom (saying something like Mama is not here today?). It was really sweet and impressive that they recognized and noticed the customers. Plus the food is really good, my youngest daughter always asks after church to come here for fried fish. I wouldn’t normally enjoy a chilled Cabernet, but here it actually works beautifully, complementing the spice and depth of the Indian cuisine.
Service has always been solid, but this visit truly stood out. Our server, G, was phenomenal. He seems to be part of the family or the next generation involved in the business, and it really shows in his dedication and pride. This restaurant Golden Llama has an amazing Rotissery chicken , crispy, juicy and good flavor with the Peruvian salsas, and the Ceviche has the authentic Peruvian touch with corns originally from Peru, the fish was so tasty and juicy, and also this place has an outstanding staff, wonderful costumer service and delivery of food is promptly therefore I am give 100 starts to this authentic and wonderful Restaurant in Greenville SC.“

“I got the salmon, mashed potatoes and vegetables. All cooked well. Salmon was flavorful and seasoned well. Not overcooked. Hubby got 7 ounce sirloin and it was a little disappointing. Already sliced so kind of dry and overcooked. Mashed potatoes are tasty. We’re not into alcohol.“

“I had a terrible burger visiting another restaurant so I saw Dinos and thought maybe I might try again. I am so glad I did! Maybe I was just in the mood for a good juicy burger, and they certainly didn't disappoint! Got the double chili burger. It was hot delicious and extremely flavorful. I really enjoyed it not being dry and tasteless like the last burger place I ate. The fries and coleslaw were piping hot and fresh. Will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was of a good diner. Wish I lived closer but this will be a regular stop when I am in the area.“

“The food was mediocre. My daughter got meatloaf and she said it tasted like a tv dinner. It made her stomach hurt and she threw up. She said it felt like something plastic came out. I had country style steak with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and pinto beans. You could tell the pinto beans were from a can, instant potatoes and the Mac and cheese left a lot to be desired. The only thing that was good is the sampler appetizer. Probably my last time I’ll eat there.“
