“If you're looking for your typical, affordable, fast Chinese takeout, this is the place. I ordered sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, and hot and sour soup. I don't normally like sesame chicken but my partner wanted it and it was 10/10. Was fried well and the sauce was very savory. Lo mein was average and the hot and sour soup was really spicy and good! It only took them 15 minutes to cook everything on a Saturday night. Will be back“

“Great food! You can tell the products are fresh and made with pride! Had the tuna eggroll special, best one I've had! Sat outside but fans were on and was a nice night. Service was good. Will go back when visiting SC again!“

“Bottom line up front: Amazing food and great atmosphere!
I’ve been fans of Kwei Fei since back in the days of their pop ups at The Daily. They’ve always brought the heat (literally) and have been eager to try this new venture, Beautiful South.
Stopped in for Sunday Brunch and it did not disappoint. The char siu fried rice had that familiar wok char and was on point! Also had the char siu bao, salt and pepper pork, and shumai. It brought back memories of dim sum in the Bay Area (big compliment) but without the old lady that gets mad when u don’t like what she has on her cart! ?
Wish I had taken pics, but honestly was too busy eating!“

“Everything we have ordered here in multiple visits has been very good. There are many similar restaurants around Charleston but nothing compares to the flavor and consistency of this place. It’s family run and they are very nice. We have never had a bad experience here. The sesame beef is so flavorful and tender. The wonton soup is very close to what you would get in NY. You can easy in at a few tables or take out and they also deliver.“

“It's funny seeing all the one star reviews comments about how the General Tso chicken was pink inside(duh, it's always pink inside. Sounds to me like you like extra well done steak.. keep chewing my friend).Seen one where the man bun complained about how they wouldn't substitute an egg roll because of his allergies(duh the entire cooking platform is cross contaminated and they wont take the risk.. moron). The one review about the crab ragoon.. yeah sometimes they don't get it perfect, but a 1 star. You're trash and sound entitled. This place has been open for over 30 years. It has to be the Michigan's and Ohians giving these bad reviews because us southerners who know this restaurant know they consistency of their taste and accuracy.Last but not least is the guy saying they had no flavor.. b'ish if you didn't fry your mouth with ketchup, hot sauce, curry, and mustard you'd be able to taste it.Anyways.. this was boring even though it started out fun. Just hate seeing cry babies give a one star because they got hurt feelings or something as silly.“

“Hands down the best breakfast joint in town. I work in the area and order the breakfast special to go. If you want to experience one of the staples of downtown cuisine in Guelph then Vienna has to be on your list.Vienna is cheaper, tastier, and more-bottomless-coffee-er than other popular breakfast places in Guelph such as Angel's, Wimpy's, or Apollo's.“

“I'll start by saying the food was amazing like definitely happy I found this place on my visit. But wish there was a warning about not being able to go inside at all and the requirement for all orders to be placed by phone. This resulted in me sitting outside in my car for 30 minutes waiting for my food to be prepared.“

“Tasty food and fast service. Stopped here late less than an hour before they closed. We ordered carry out and did not have to wait long. The food was still quite hot by the time we returned to the hotel to eat it in our room. Crab Rangoon and egg rolls were excellent.“

“very friendly, helpful, staff. the summer rolls and pho are great, for sure. to be honest, I haven't tried too much more bc I love those so much. I will say, I've been eating here (dining in and out) for roughly ten years and it's consistently great with consistently great service. quality ingredients. I have had good bubble tea here as well. my son and I love it here and any friend I've taken or told about it.“

“Let me begin by giving you some insight a out me - I love sauce. Any food I eat, I often need copious amounts of sauce to go with it. After a 12 hour travel day, I was starving and ordered sweet and sour chicken and cream cheese rangoons from Tokyo Express, and naturally, I asked for a couple extra cups of sweet and sour sauce. After placing my order on doordash, Tokyo Express immediately called to confirm how many sauces I wanted. I said "maybe three more?", they confirmed and I thanked them for checking in.Why do I tell you this? Are a few condiment cups of sweet and sour not a normal thing to ask for? Why is this worthy of a review? I'll tell you why, reader. Because Tokyo Express went above and beyond.Imagine my surprise when my order came and (5) 12oz containers of sweet and sour sauce came with my order. Note that while I love sauce, 60oz of sauce to my one order of chicken and rangoons was too much for even me. And yet I appreciate Tokyo Express, who no doubt wondered what psychotic person would require that much sweet and sour, still stood ready to serve and accommodate. Did they charge me a bit extra? Understandably yes. But that charge was incredibly low, and I find it important to note that the sweet and sour sauce was delightful, as was the rest of my food.If anyone needs 48oz of sweet and sour, hit me up.“

“I love it, haters can hate, but I always keep coming back. Pepper steak is always on point, Shrimp and Broccoli on point, if the commentators here said they're food was cold was probably BC they don't actually come when they're told.“

“Early voted in Daniel Island so checked out Dragon Palace for Lunch based on a recommendation from a friend.
Overall it was good but nothing to knock your socks off. I wouldn’t drive from Goose Creek to DI for it.
The Sweet and Sour Chicken was good. Nice larger pieces of Chicken and the batter was on point, crunchy light and fluffy.
The Eye Kew was also good. Had good flavor but the highlight was the Beef as it was so tender.
Dim Sum platter was great. You could tell these were hand made. Five different pieces, the Shu Mai and the Pork were the best. Very light, but flavorful Dumpling Sauce.
The Fried Rice was lacking, just Rice and Soy Sauce. Nothing else to provide flavor. No vegetables, no seasoning.
The Egg Roll was also lacking. Essentially a Fried Cabbage Roll as there was a tiny amount of pork in it. To the point I had to thoroughly search for those red Pork pieces after each bite. The Duck Sauce that was served with it was great though.
These were Lunch Specials but added the Dim Sum and the Egg Roll. Portions were solid for the price of $12.99 per special. Dim Sum was $8.99 and the Egg Roll was $2.75.
It was nice to see a sit down Chinese Restaurant rather than the typical Take Out Style places, especially with some of the originals in the area closing.
As I said before, the meal was good but nothing to go crazy about. Highlights were the Dim Sum and the Beef in the Rib Kew. Everything else was average at best.
I will give them credit for a wide range of items on the menu that you wouldn’t get at a typical Chinese Take Out Style place.“

“Super Wok is one of my primary go to’s when I need a quick lunch, or a ready made dinner for the family. As a born and raised New Yorker, I know good Chinese food when I taste it, and this restaurant doesn’t disappoint at all. The restaurant is typical of a small restaurant where you rarely see people dining in, so almost no investment is made on the interior design and atmosphere. It is kept clean and orderly.“

“My boyfriend and I love this place! We are never disappointed.
They definitely get busy with online orders and walk-ins, so please be patient with them!
I always get the sweet and sour chicken combo. I also recommend the fried doughnuts for a sweet treat, I’ve found reheating them in the oven is better than the microwave.“

“You can tell they boom on carry out and not dine in. It's not the most aesthetic place but the food is good. I've been wanting coconut creamy shrimp for a while and I finally found a place that serves it. I also got the vegetable chow mei fun. It was good too. Thank goodness for Google.“

“Oh wowwww soooooo good. Every dish was perfect; let me tell you. Gen Tso w pork fried rice, the right amount of heat and tender. Lumpia! It's wonderful. Fried dumplings with housin blend sauce so heavenly. Then I also ordered the sugar donuts. Asia Express is brilliant in their packaging (arrived hot) and delivery was very fast.
We didn't even get to the egg roll! Generous with the fortune cookies.
Will order again. Bravo ??“

“I may be a little biased because I’m a huge Chinese fan, but being from New York, I know good Chinese food when I taste it. Peking Gourmet does not disappoint. The sweet and sour chicken/pork are favorites for me and my son. We also typically add a side of fried dumplings. Chinese food is always a great go to for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. The seating is typical of a restaurant that rarely has customers dining in, but takeout is where it’s at! We’ll certainly we back for more.“

“Amazing food! Ordered for the first time last night, and will definitely be a repeat customer! Pu-pu platter here gives you a great variety with wings, rangoons, egg rolls, fried shrimp, fried fish, fried crabstick, chicken teriyaki, and beef teriyaki. It was such a pleasant surprise to see zero "filler" of chicken fingers! Entrees we're fantastic too with a good amount of veggies.“

“I’m one of those people that only goes to Chinese places for orange/honey chicken and, as a Charleston native, I’ve been to numerous Chinese places in the tricounty area. China Master takes the cake, not even close. I wasn’t even in the mood but they got me with a free sample and to my complete surprise I experienced a fried chicken that was audibly crispy and yet so tender while not being overly sweet. From one “Chinese chicken” connoisseur to another, I can not over hype this place. My eyes are open and I’ll never see the world in the same light ever again.“

“Vegetarian options: Very good Chinese food. I have actually only been in the area a year and have been bummed because Chinese is my go-to and it’s a cuisine that’s not the best here. Not only did I really enjoy my food at Great Wall, when I asked if they could make me a favorite of mine off menu (schezuan tofu), they nicely obliged and it was so, so good. My new go to.“

“Amazing food with the kindest people running the place. My husband and I have been eating here for years and will always make the 20 minute drive from IOP for our favorite Chinese take out. Their veggie lo mein is amazing and my husband loves their chicken pad Thai! The lady that runs the counter is the sweetest and they always remember us when we come in!“

“Hot and Spicy Chicken was AMAZING! This place is very quick and always friendly! Their prices not being updated doesn't really seem like a reason for all of the negative reviews.... Their food is good and not any more expensive than the other chinese restaurants in the area.“

“My family placed a nice sized order. I got the boneless spare ribs with house fried rice and an order of chicken wings. The wings were very good and flavorful. The boneless spare ribs........ if I had it to do all over again I would order a large by itself. These are sooooooo good. I would make a special trip to this spot if I were in the area just to get their boneless spare ribs. The egg roll was packed and wrapped tight. I will be visiting again.“

“Phenomenal service, food, and flavor; hands down the best, freshest, and highest quality local Chinese food! I don’t eat fried foods and I dislike mushy vegetables; not an issue here, they have plenty of healthy options available. 5 out of 5 stars.“

“I ordered the pork lo mein and it was delicious. I had them make it spicy and it had the perfect heat for me. I see someone left a bad review for Pork Chow Mein not having any noodles. Chow Mein is a cabbage dish that does not come with spaghetti like noodles. It only comes with fried noodles on the side. Lo Mein is noodles!“

“Great experience tonight. Food was good and service was good too. I don’t care what you do but if you want an apple pie do NOT try their new apple pie rolls. They’re disgusting lol. Food was good as usual. The people making the food were friendly and Ayden, who was the cashier, was helpful(didn’t seem too enthusiastic about his job though) because they were out of small lids at the self serve soda fountain and he grabbed a new pack to restock it. Overall 5 stars“

“Kind of skeptical about coming here because there were very few reviews and no menu online ????. I had a Chinese food craving so beyond belief so this was one I decided to roll the dice on and so glad I did. The restaurant is not open for dine in most likely due to covid-19. They have made a make shift take out window through the front door. They have the menu taped on the window and plenty of menus on the take out table. You place your order, go back to your vehicle or chill outside, about 10 mins later you go back up to the door to see if your food is ready because they do not notify you. The food is great, flavorful, price is right and awesome portion sizes. I can make 2 meals out of 1 and will keep coming back.“

“Super friendly and fast service. The sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and crab rangoons were so so good, probably my favorite in the Charleston area! Very flavorful, huge portions, and fresh. The crab rangoons had a slightly different flavor and filling than I’m used to but I didn’t mind it at all. I didn’t care for the egg roll but would try it again to see if it was just a bad batch.“
