“Plan on making this a remote work spot! It was a great vibe with indoor and outdoor seating variety from couches and chairs, to bar stools. Layout was open but felt cozy and intimate at the same time. WiFi available for workspace. Plenty of pastry/dessert options and the coffee was good with lots of flavor options. Hours are convenient for work, or a quick unwind after work. We will be back.“

Our appetizer was muscles and fries in coconut and lime broth, as well as sriracha and cornichon ketchup. “Renzo is hands down my favorite restaurant in Charleston. It’s first and foremost delicious, but also loud (in the best way) and cozy. In a city that often times takes its food too seriously, Renzo is irreverent and fun.Do yourself a favor and order the Korean fried chicken and a Caesar. It’s the best salad in town and those two items alone make a great meal. But don’t stop there. The pastas sell out fast because they’re good - make earlier reservations and guarantee yourself a selection of menu items. The wood fired pizzas are the perfect mix of crusty edges and soft centers. You get char and chew all on one plate.Finally, never miss a “specials” event, loved red sauce week so much the first night we came back for a second. Feast of the Seven Fishes is better than my husband’s Italian grandmother (but I didn’t tell her that).“

“Amazing experience through and through. From the greeting on the porch, the intimate table setting, amazing service, and even more amazing food. This resteraunt really curates an excellent experience. Once you order everything at the beginning of your meal you can sit back and relax as the dishes roll out perfectly timed. The chefs delivered the dishes themselves and were as enthusiastic to explain them as we were to eat them. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and helped guide our choices. The menu on their website was definitely different than the one we were handed. Their menu rotates so frequently that their website lags behind, and that's a great thing. Don't let it scare you away from a reservation, but let it excite you for the surprises that await. We sat on the balcony of the back porch where there are only 3 tables and it was very private! This resteraunt is going into our list of required visits every time we visit the city. Absolutely try this place. You won't regret it.“

“Absolutely wonderful drinks and food! The food was delicious, high quality, and the drinks are very good too! I had the steak and eggs, I had to chew the steak a bit (probably just the cut of meat) but it was cooked right and very tasty! The truffle fries are ADDICTIVE! I also tasted the biscuits and gravy and salmon toast, everything was delicious! It’s a beautiful spot on the water.“

We asked her surprise us with a charcuterie board and it was amazing and he paired the wines perfectly! “Hands down, this is a fabulous little 'Mount Pleasant nook' in which to hang out! Nobody seems to know about this place, which is too bad because it's lively, has a HUGE bar, a comfy living room-esque area, and plenty of table seating. Wine-by-the-glass pricing is very reasonable, so we keep returning. You can also buy bottles. They also offer charcuterie, but we go directly to the specials board for the crostini du jour, homemade meatballs, or their layered Spanish tortilla. In a way, I hope it remains a secret, but in another way, I hope the word gets out. The owner couple who work the venue together are fabulous people, and this diamond in Mount P deserves to be busy. I did ask about special events and was pleasantly surprised to learn about the immediate "upcomings;" I screen-shotted a couple and attached them.“

“Great little neighborhood bar that was within walking distance to my Air BnB. It has a decent beer and wine selection. They have snacks as well. Vivian was friendly and had several suggestions for restaurants in the area. I was here early so no one else was in here but I'm sure it's a popular place. Wednesday nights is open mike night and live music every Friday and Saturday. Come check it out!“

“We got a bean burrito and sat outside in their cute garden dining area. It was no wait and quick. The bean burrito was good, not too big but good size. The prices are good too!It’s a great concept, small quick and 3 options. I love that they offer the bean burrito for those of us that don’t eat meat. Would be cool to offer a Gf option too.“

After we ate we went and browsed the wine selection (3, 40ft shelves filled top to bottom) and left with 3 bottles of wine. We were seated immediately, right at the front of the restaurant by the big windows that were streaming light into the bar area. This is a fantastic date spot and venue for small groups of friends who want to enjoy some good conversation. I am sure I will be back soon!“

I will say they haven’t missed a beat!Unfortunately, so many great places in Charleston & Mt Pleasant have failed to deliver TRUE customer service.The food and atmosphere at LANGDON’s were exactly as I remember.
