“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.“

“Cool place for Karaoke on Fridays or to see a band or to watch football in Fort Mil l/ Tega Cay. Read the couple negative reviews on here - never saw any of that. Little hidden gem. No Pretense (it's literally attached to a gas station). Check it out if you live within 10 - 15 min of Carowinds....worth it. I am a little older but I don't feel old there and it's a 2 or 3 generation kind of spot. Nothing fancy - a couple pool tables, outdoor section, some games and a little stage.“

We were greeted and sat by a hostess with the most fun hair that compliments the steampunk feel of the restaurant and she was all smiles and very welcoming and friendly. Awesome start to dinner. Our server was Kaylee and she also made the experience very enjoyable and I would recommend asking for a table in her section if you go in. My wedge salad may have been the best I’ve ever had-Emily shared that they make their blue cheese dressing-I raved about the quality and the generous quantity! She’d also recommended the soup of the day that was also quite tasty & as she’d thought, it paired well with my main course-the Cajun pasta with andouille and chicken. The pasta was a great amount of spicy, richly creamy, and the tomato’s warm juiciness was a delightful addition! I stopped myself partway through that dish so I could try the crème brûlée cheesecake—YUM!! Rich, and I’m sure the cream it was garnished with was from scratch—somehow both light and rich!! Definitely must go back to try the other fun menu items!! Oh, I did trade a few bites with my husband who also loved the pasta; it afforded me the chance to try their burger—perfectly cooked, juicy and TASTY under the melted white cheddar & bacon!!“

We had cocktails beforehand but noticed their lounge is spacious , we will be sure to have pre dinner drinks there next time. Our server was very attentive and helpful with menu choices. There happened to be the YOCO Trail week w/ special menu items at several restaurants in the area. So we were able to each choose an appetizer, entree and dessert for $35 each. We had the tortillas with lobster dip, a strawberry salad and they served warm bread with a tomato and olive oil sauce. I ordered shrimp and grits and my wife had the salmon. We also chose the key lime pie and chocolate mousse cake. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“
