“The atmosphere is clean, food is fair nothing fancy. I had the hamburger steak as well as the potato salad and coleslaw. It was all really good. My mom had a chili cheeseburger that was just okay because the chili on top just looked like browned hamburger with not much flavor. All-in-one wasn't bad and the prices were pretty good. I'd probably go back.“

“Im new to SC and I was craving a hotdog and thick fries 🤤🍟 and I was in the area so I went and I was not disappointed. I got the sausage hotdog plate 18 with two sausage dogs in order of fries sooo good oh and I got ketchup mustard onions and slaw on it“

“I’ve ordered here many times and have had zero issues with my food since their opening. Culver’s is one of my favorites. I like that my food has been made fresh to order…and folks forget that kind of quality takes time. So waiting a little bit for fresh food is never an issue for me. Everyone is super nice too.“

“I fully believe this to be the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The staff were very welcoming and continued to clean as they went. The staff didn’t leave each server to their own table but instead helped each other and checked in with other tables if they thought they may need something. However, what I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere. Regulars that have been coming here for 10 years were joking with staff and vice versa. It felt welcoming and at home. If I lived closer, this would be a regular weekend treat.“

“First off, great staff!! They are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating.You are always greeted with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious. I always get at least 2 dozen raw oysters to start with a side of their cheesy grits, that taste like they came from my grandma's kitchen. I've been going there for years and have enjoyed every meal from sushi to steak, to smothered chicken to scallops. The food is phenomenal. Clearly the chefs take pride in every meal they prepared. Delicious food, portioned and priced right. The GBOH never disappoints. The backbone of the operation is Diane & Katie. They are always there and make you feel like family. I live in Florida and when I'm in South Carolina, after stopping to see family, my next stop is GBOH!!! LOVE IT!!“

“Get it while you can, this is a dying breed. Quintessential Gen X burger place. My whole visit just now could have been an hour of MTV from the 80’s with the Bowl game on all TV’s. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

“After a long and stressful drive with no food in stomach, me and my friend stopped in to eat before we headed home. The three people working night of August 20th were so nice and friendly even though we unintentionally ended up being a bit difficult about how our eggs were cooked. I havent ate here in a very long time ago, around 2001vqas the last time that I ate here, and i dont live in South Carolina anymore, i live in North Carolina and soon I will be planning to take a trip to South Carolina with my parents just to eat at Pete's. Thank you for staying in business but I always knew that you guys would stay open, even when I was a little girl, I knew that I would never forget this place and no matter what happened to me I would make sure when I did come back to South Carolina for visits i would always stop into at Pete's for the famous French fries and the jumbo chili cheeseburger with the onion ring.“

“The food was good, but the wait was slightly long, and the atmosphere was loud with a lot of profanity. The cashier mistakenly took my order, but she was very friendly and apologized. She also called the owner to address the issue. Overall, the situation was managed very professionally. I plan to return.“
