“Genuinely some of the best food I've had ever, I'm still dreaming about the beet and burrata salad, radiatore, and the chocolate cremeux dessert. Rarely are dishes so good I'm motivated enough to even try to recreate but days after the burrata salad I did just that (ofc it wasn't as good as the original). The chocolate cremeux was the dessert of my dreams: the perfect saltiness of the cookie with the creaminess of the marshmallow and chocolate was absolute heaven. First of all, when you walk in the aromas in that room are amazing. We placed our order (although it was hard to pick just 1 or 2 things, everything looked so dang good).I ordered the pizza (18 inch) with pepperoni & onions. My wife ordered some different slices of pizza and an order of garlic knots. Everyone working behind the counter were pleasant and personable. I got to talk to the owner (Mike) and his manager (Pete). Boy, you could tell these guys were from New York lol. We grabbed our food, paid the cashier and we were off to the hotel to dive in.The pizza was traditional New York style. Thin slices that were full of flavor even with just 2 toppings. The sauce was amazing and the pizza crust...mmmmm. The garlic knots - well....let's just say they didn't last long. Buttery, garlicy and soft. This was an absolutely delicious sandwich loaded with Ham, salami, prosciutto d' parma, provolone cheese, spring mix. The bread was perfectly crusty, but not chewy and was so good. I also ordered my favorite pizza from them, the Capricciosa. This pizza is soooo flipping great and generously topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Salami, Ham, Artichokes, Mushrooms, Kalamata olives, basil, EVO Oil. I am certain they gave me someone else's pizza who never showed up and that will explain why it was cold. It was getting close to closing time and I didn't have any desire to return there that night I asked if I could come tomorrow night for a fresh hot pizza. They Said no take what you get or cook it yourself if we give you a free pizza then everyone will want a free pizza... I told them I wasn't asking for a free pizza just the pizza I had paid for. I don't know why it took 2 of them to talk to me on rhe phone but they seemed to be encouraging each other to be more and more rude to me and the way they Laughed at each other was beyond annoying. I didn't get a new hot pizza and I have not been back there since this incident.“

“Uptown Social is the place to be if you are visiting Charleston! My group went on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy! There were a lot of bachelorette groups and spring break groups!
