“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.”

“We stopped at Gallina Loca for a quick lunch during a visit to the low country. Victor was awesome! Delicious food served up quickly with a smile. The tacos were simply awesome! If you happen to be in the area, be sure to check them out!”

“The little hiding piece of perfection was awesome! Food, we had banners and corned beef, was delicious. Bartender was constantly making sure we were good. Servers was friendly and helpful.

Other than the perfect lighting, great selection and staff my only thought was some Irish music would have set a better tone.

Side note : save a little room for a small frozen yogurt next door. They staff was great too and their yogurt delicious!

“My partner stopped in and got me a beverage to help me feel better. He said the staff explained every beverage and were so helpful getting the best drink for the given situation. The beverage is not only delicious but healthy and hydrating. When you have an immunity crisis and need a boost I highly suggest stopping in and grabbing a tropical detox tea with an immunity supplement shot. It is so refreshing! I'm feeling better all ready! “I normally do not like shrimp and grits but theirs was delicious! Also the pasta salad, squash, butter beans, and tomato pie were yummy as well. I hate sugared cornbread so that was a no for me. The crab cake wasn't bad but I personally don't think it's worth that price. Great service, location, and food overall!”

“This is an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere and service is top notch and the chef is amazing. We had the pimento chitin start followed by the fried chicken with cheese Mac and collard greens and finished it off with banana pudding. Simple dishes but to prepare them correctly takes great talent, to prepare them the way they did takes great talent. My compliments to the chef!!!”

“Happened to stop by while on vacation. Got the Cowboy Chicken sandwich and it did NOT disappoint. Texture is everything in a sandwich (to me at least), and this one nailed it. Perfect combination of soft and crunchy, the ranch and avocado brings everything together. I can see why this is a best seller. Would definitely get it again 👌”

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! Great coffee, service, pastries, toasts and local drink and food finds!”

“Fast, friendly, good food. Live music occasionally on Saturday nights outside. Only ever sat at the bar but the bar staff is pretty on point. Food is exactly what it says it is but I think it's delicious. It aint Halls so if thats what youre looking for, youre in the wrong spot but that doesnt mean it isnt tasty because it absolutely is. There are a million TVs for sports. Covered and fanned outside area. It'd be hard to beat this local spot. Also the beer selection is decent and the AC works.”

“We ordered the hibachi steak/chicken and steak/shrimp. Both meals were delicious, cooked perfectly, and very generous portions. We have eaten at this grill several times over the years and we have enjoyed every experience. Definitely recommended and appreciated in the community!”

“JI has a message saying you can't place online orders and there not answering the phones . they keep a problem. it's a shame because the pizza is good. The business is just not being ran right.”

“It was nearly freezing outside and they tried sitting us next to an open window, thankfully they were understanding and moved us to a different table. Our server was a little slower and less attentive than other servers at the tables around us, we had to wait several times for refills on our drinks. All of the food tasted great and everything but the soup was an appropriate temperature. When it is near freezing I want soup that warms me up from the inside, the she-crab soup did NOT do that. The soup was not hot at all, I'm pretty sure the rest of the food was hotter than the soup, it still tasted good but was a little disappointing.”

“Google helped us find this restaurant and we are so glad it did. My husband and I both got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was delicious! Our server Angel was fantastic. She was so accommodating to us especially when it came to our kids. Will definitely be back here next time we are in town!”
