“The ice cream is really good. The chocolate was rich and buttery. I don’t understand the lower reviews due to pricing. Being at a 5 star resort, right on the beach, what do you expect? I guess people always have something to complain about.“

“We were for the memorial day weekend & was on lookout for good breakfast places.
This was one of the best.
Great food, clean place, quick service.
Until your order arrives you can entertain the kids in play area which is 20 steps away.
If you go early you can get your order quicker & grab good table to be seated.
Value for money.“

“Completely worth all the hype!! I am a big coffee snob, drink my coffee black kind of snob, and don't drink sugary coffee drinks. We stopped here with the intention of getting a basic americano for a quick caffiene fix. On a whim decided to try the Folly Fog (because of other reviews). You have to stop yourself from guzzling it. It's the best non black ice coffee!!! Definitely just became a a planned regular stop for every visit to Charleston!“

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! Great coffee, service, pastries, toasts and local drink and food finds!“

“I got the grilled turkey, bacon, and swiss croissant and enjoyed it very much. Out of our group of 8, everyone said they enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was family friendly and the servers were pleasant. Great place for lunch or dinner if you're in the Folly Beach area.“

“This is my favorite coffee shop. They've ruined iced vanilla lattes from anywhere else because Java Java is the best. The staff is wonderful and gets drinks out quickly. If I'm ever in the area between 7:00 and 3:00, I'm swinging by for my favorite drink. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Thanks to the guys and gals behind the counter who always take good care of me!“

“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.“

“Sunrise is a local neighborhood must! Right on maybank and offers good prices, ample portions and all the food is good. Got crepes and a breakfast burrito, both delish. Easy self serve coffee bar, and great service. A must go especially that side of town.“
