“If you’re visiting North Charleston this is a spot you absolutely cannot miss. We needed a place to get a quick lunch before our massages & we decided on this place. We were seated immediately by the sweetest woman who ended up taking care of us during our hour dining with them. My husband ordered a blonde lager on tap, which he had said was the best beer he had received during our time here. My husband ordered the shrimp/crawfish po’boy which he stated was delicious and packed with every bite & I ordered a shrimp basket which threw just about every shrimp basket I’ve ever had out of the park. The pecan cornbread that comes with the basket is honestly a desert in itself, and I think if it asked me to marry it I just might’ve. We got the beignets for desert, & as someone that’s been to NOLA these are the closest ones I’ve had to beignets in NOLA. Smaller in size but fluffy perfection after a large lunch! The woman who took care of us was definitely our favorite part about this place, I only wish we had remembered her name but we will most certainly be back just to look for her again. If you ever want to be greeted & treated like family this is the place to go.“

“My son came home from deployment and I just wanted to take him out to have a nice dinner before he left which was the following day. So I took him to this restaurant and everyone treated us so very very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant the ambience is also very nice, however the waiter the maître d’ the manager waitresses, they all made the experience for me and my son amazing. I cannot wait to come back and just relax and enjoy the jazz music that was playing.“

The women that work there try their best to appease everyone's needs and wants even when the get heckled by rude patrons. The atmosphere is very nice. “Sunrise bistro in Summerville off of old trolley Road has the best food. They also have the best service and the nicest folks in the business. Cinda is amazing. She’s always got a smile on her face and is always very prompt and never in too much of a hurry to find out what you really want to eat. She follows up after the meal is served to find out if you need anything else, but not to the point where you’ve got food in your mouth when she comes over to check on your satisfaction.“

“Had pizza, one with gluten friendly crust, other with traditional crust. The gluten friendly crust was firm and held the cheese, sauce, and toppings well. The ability to customize (unlimited) toppings was welcome. My son chose cucumber as one topping and really liked it. We also got a customized mixed greens salad as well as iced tea. Food was delicious, service was courteous and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. The music was alternative, which I particularly like. We are visiting for a skating competition, but I would definitely return if in the area.“

The gulab jamun comes with coconut sprinkles on top and coconut being one of my most disliked foods, I wasn’t aware of this, but they didn’t hesitate to switch it out for a fresh bowl with shaved almonds instead when I requested.
