“Always enjoy dining outside (inside good too) at Mex 1. We’ve always had friendly and attentive waitstaff and the tacos are so good you want to eat more than you should. Yesterday our chips were thin, hot and fresh.. also making you eat more than you should. Highly recommended, but make sure you leave a table for me.“

“No wait on a Thursday night mid-May, with a table on the porch. The mussels were awesome with a delicious sauce that demanded more bread to soak up every drop. Lasagne was very flavorful, and the halibut special was perfectly cooked, and spinach was easily substituted for collard greens. Jessie was a great server with a very pleasant demeanor. Loved this place and will definitely return. Don’t miss it!“

“When spending a day at the beach on Sullivans Island the Co-Op is a must stop. Saw many patrons eating, but we came for the Frose and weren’t disappointed.A walk to the beach with a frozen drink solves most all problems. Staff was amazing, drinks were outstanding. Don’t pass up when on Sullivans.“

After ordering for takeout, we were told it would be 18 minutes until it would be ready as they were being freshly made. They provided complementary coffee for the wait. In a city that often times takes its food too seriously, Renzo is irreverent and fun.Do yourself a favor and order the Korean fried chicken and a Caesar. It’s the best salad in town and those two items alone make a great meal. But don’t stop there. The pastas sell out fast because they’re good - make earlier reservations and guarantee yourself a selection of menu items. The wood fired pizzas are the perfect mix of crusty edges and soft centers. You get char and chew all on one plate.Finally, never miss a “specials” event, loved red sauce week so much the first night we came back for a second. Feast of the Seven Fishes is better than my husband’s Italian grandmother (but I didn’t tell her that).“
