“We saw the sign on the way to Orlando and decided on our way back home we’d stop for lunch. We had no idea this place existed. Nice atmosphere, loved the memorabilia. Potato golf balls were delicious but our entrees were a little disappointing. Service was decent.“

“The service and most of the food was amazing last Saturday night. My brother had the Wagu steak it had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only problem was it was chewy and the fat seemed like it did not break down. Our server was amazing and said that she would get a manager. 20 minutes later the manager came over with an attitude. We explained the situation and he seemed not to care. Said every once in a while that even the best meat could be off. He did nothing to fix it and walked off like we wasted his time. Very disappointed in the manager’s lack of interest. Very satisfied and happy with our server.“

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.“

“Atmosphere is amazing. We've been twice and we will be back. The food is decent but don't expect a 5 star taste. The scenery makes up for the long wait and luke warm food once it does make it to your table. It is pricey but we didn't mind because again the Atmosphere is very romantic.“

“Cool place for Karaoke on Fridays or to see a band or to watch football in Fort Mil l/ Tega Cay. Read the couple negative reviews on here - never saw any of that. Little hidden gem. No Pretense (it's literally attached to a gas station). Check it out if you live within 10 - 15 min of Carowinds....worth it. I am a little older but I don't feel old there and it's a 2 or 3 generation kind of spot. Nothing fancy - a couple pool tables, outdoor section, some games and a little stage.“

Owner/Operators Tim & Connie and their son Archie run a great place and go above and beyond. Great selection of liquors as well as bottled beers and ciders, and four beer on tap. No wine here as Belmont (or Gaston County) require different licensing. Lots of live music on weekends and loads of special events and even impromptu potluck meals. “This is THE place in Belmont for an afternoon hang or summer dinner + beer! The food is amazing! Don't miss the sliders. The beer options change out to allow for a good rotation of local selections (not awesome, but always solid). The patio is an ideal space for a summer hang for lazy days overlooking the park or entertaining summer nights in the heart of Main Street listening to the music of Belmont's Friday Night Live events. But by far, the best part about Cornerstone is the service! Everyone from the bartenders, to the wait staff, to the bar back, is customer focused. Possibly the best service on the strip!
