“We discovered Pier 88 last lake season and it’s become a must do every time we are on the lake. It’s the perfect stop for gas, burgers, ice cream, smoothies. The owners are absolutely the BEST!! We feel like part of the family every time we visit!!! I always leave with some sort of merchandise... the sun shirts are fabulous, love @sunbum and @boggobag and today grabbed a @silipint cup! This pier is hip, fun and family owned!!! Hidden gem! ☀️“

You do wait in line a bit to place your order depending upon how busy they are. They are open just limited days and not open until 5 PM then. But everything was really good.“

“We stopped at a new place in Rock Hill called Small Cakes (a cupcakery) on Celanese Rd. (where the old Stitch and Frame place used to be). It's a cute place and bigger than it looks. Inside there is a place for kids to play and TV with kiddie shows. There is also comfortable seating for adults. Best of all are the cupcakes. There are lots of yummy flavors. I got the carrot cake cupcake. It was deliciously moist. They also have homemade ice cream - many flavors - and I believe they have milkshakes too. Try it out. You won't be sorry!“

“The host was AMAZING we had a big party and they accommodated us quickly and efficiently. Our waitress J was awesome however the kitchen staff FAILED horribly with a few of the meals! The chicken and waffles were a hit! They didn’t have the chicken and dumplings soup which was a huge FAILED specifically because they failed to tell us instilled after we had been waiting WELL over 30 minutes for even the first meal to come out! All of the food was luke warm EXCEPT the fries which replaced the chicken and dumplings soup! The moonshine peach 5 dollar special shots were ALSO A HIT! So my REAL review #Hostess 11/10… Jay our waitress 10/10 (only because I feel the food should have been brought out as it became ready EVEN if the kitchen failed miserably) food taste 7/10 because my daughter loved her chicken and waffles! And my son didn’t LOVE the chicken. But overall the atmosphere was nice. Jay did have a lot to handle with our big group and some allergies BUT in my opinion SHE HANDLED HERSELF WELL UNDER STRESS AND ISSUES OUT OF HER CONTROL! I think I would go back but maybe not with a group and definitely not 2 hours to closing I think the kitchen staff probably gives up at that point and figure you get what you get!“

“Very Pleasantly surprised! My Chicken Marsala was great. Not traditional cutlet, but a terrific quality bone in breast with delicious sauce and mushrooms. The accompanying gnocchi was to die for and the asparagus was perfect! Fresh, green, plump and perfectly cooked. My husband loved the chicken quesadilla with all the vegetables and toppings being really fresh. And he got a side of brussel sprouts with it. Our server could not have been more pleasant. She let us know where things stood. It was pretty busy but the environment is quieter but comfortable so you can have nice conversation. Finished with Creme Brûlée and wow! Prices reasonable, great service and food. Well done to the Chef and staff!“
