“I ate an early dinner 10/3rd at 5:00pm. My server, Wendy, was excellent! She was attentive without hovering. I was torn between three choices and she helped me decide which of the three I should eat. The dish was excellent and just the right choice for me. I thought the caesar salad was fresh and delicious but had too much dressing for me. I would order it on the side next time. If you visit this restaurant, ask to be seated in Wendy's section!“

“Classic Italian restaurant. Fast and friendly service. Locally owned by a wonderful woman. This place is perfect for a quiet date night for a couple at any age. I highly recommend the veal parmasan and fried ravioli. The marinara is well seasoned and made fresh. If you love real homemade Italian food but don't feel like cooking it all day yourself, go to Amichi's. You won't be disappointed.“

“I hadn't eaten here in 10 plus years for one reason or another. So my wife and I were on a Saturday date and this is where I wanted to eat. We were seated promptly and then we were met by the most fantastic waitress. Her name was Lexi.. she was on point. Got everything right. Super nice. Just really made my wife's and I date just that much more special for me to describe just how awesome she was. If there was 10 Stars I'd give her 10 Stars for real. She was fantastic. We called the manager over to express our gratitude for her and that she should be commended in front of her peers because that is the type of person you want working for you and that is the type of waitress you want serving. You just cannot say enough and I hope if you go there to request if she's there because you will get 10 star service from her... The food was great. Of course you know they had the salad and the breadsticks and the soup and that's always good. I had a spicy dish of some sort and then added some sausage to it and it did not disappoint. It was really good. I'm not going to wait 10 years this time to come back but Lexi is going to have to be working..“

“The porcini rubbed prime rib sandwich is without a doubt one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in Charleston. I have been trying to get by this place for a couple of weeks and I am glad that I did. I compared this sandwich against my other favorite in Charleston, which was a steak sandwich from Fugazi… Only to find out that they own that restaurant as well. Absolutely fantastic sandwich will become a regular here and I will recommend you to everybody. Capt. Paul“

“I can't believe Legami wasn't on my radar until recently! We had an incredible dinner with outstanding drinks. The Legami Martini truly made its mark with the burrata-stuffed olives.

We tried the oysters, which were uniquely paired with pickled onions. The added crunch gave them an unexpected texture that actually worked surprisingly well together. The Shrimp Kataifi was another favorite. I had never had anything like it before but I do wish the portion included more than three shrimp for the price.

This was the best Gnocchi dish I’ve ever had. It was both creamy and flavorful. If Gnocchi isn’t your style, I highly recommend the Pappardelle Al Ragu. Overall, it was a great dinner with exceptional service and beautiful presentation.“

“Amazing food. Everything is homemade. My fiancé and I live an hour away and it is always worth the drive. Must try! We have loved everything we have tried. After developing a gluten intolerance I can still enjoy their delicious gluten free lasagna. Even their homemade breads are much easier to digest than anything else I have tried! “We heard so much about pelato and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The food all came out fresh to order and we appreciated the time we had in between each meal. All of the food was delicious and we split six plates for three people. The stand outs were the pelato salad, the meatballs (my personal favorite), and the vodka pasta. As someone who isn’t the biggest pasta lover, the vodka pasta was extremely tasty and rich. It’s a perfect dish to complement the other lighter items and for sharing. I also loveddd the shape of the pasta! Our waitress was DaJané who was very kind and helpful. Super nice ambiance as well and the restaurant itself was beautiful and spacious.“

When we got our bread, it came with EVOO rather than the cheap oil that is common at most restaurants. This is a testament to their commitment to quality ingredients and that was true throughout the whole meal. Get there before someone post about it on TikTok and it’s impossible to get a reservation!“

“I took my wife on a mini food tour and this was our last stop. The food was very delicious! We only ordered the Disco Fries and the Bruno Bianco pizza. The fries were very flavorful with vodka sauce, pesto, and fresh mozzarella. The Bruno Bianco was extremely fresh and very delicious. You could definitely taste the aromas of the parmigiano and basil pesto ranch sauce. It was phenomenal!! I completely recommend this place and these options.“

“We have been 4 times now and the food is fresh, plentiful and flavorful. Their pistachio cheesecake and raspberry lemon cheesecake are delicious and we brought them home to enjoy over the next couple of days. The linguine and clam sauce is almost as good as my husband’s recipe . Their bread is fresh and great to finish off the clam sauce. The meatballs are a great meal if you are skipping pasta. Their pizzas are wood fired thin and crispy with many choices for toppings with both red and white sauce. The staff is friendly and attentive. Even the customers are friendly and smile and greet you. The French Onion pizza was spectacular. My mom and brother got wine, and that looked pretty good.

My only complaint is we ordered some meatballs off of the happy hour menu and they were tiny… like super tiny… like penny sized. And I like to eat. But now I know the pizza is better bang for my buck.

“The chicken parm sandwich is one of my favorite comfort foods in the area! Unfortunately, tonight was the third time we had to wait nearly thirty minutes for our online takeout order. I have bad back pain, so standing and waiting has been an inconvenience, but maybe the average person doesn’t care. I don’t know.

Whenever we dine in, it’s no problem at all. But the takeout has been consistently about ~30 min later than expected recently.

Well sir, she was helping a previous CUSTOMER. It amazes me how rude Managers are to their employees. And the fact that he didn't care that he was talking loud enough that I could hear him speaks volumes.
If I could give multiple reviews I'd give 1 star based on this behavior.

“Visiting Charleston,SC, needed something filling . Found New York Pizza on East Bay Street. The young lady April who took my order over the phone was wonderful. She was most helpful in suggesting the amount and toppings. My mobility issues allowed me to go to the Lobby and receive my Pizza. Leo brought it to the desk, he was very nice, appreciative and caring. April and Leo are great employees to have, they accommodate others issues and make it happen. I am most grateful and thankful. “Food was good- pepperoni and basil on gluten free crust & another pepperoni on regular crust. Pizza is wood fired and has that thin crust, rustic, floury thing going on. The kids tried the hot honey on theirs and loved it! The meat and cheese board was good as well. We went on a weekend and there was competing music between here and the bar across the street, lots of people, lots of kids playing on the playground in the seating area.
