I enjoy going to the restaurant, nice. The waitress was very nice, but the guy who took our orders. Flirted with me in front of my husband and my pastor and his wife. It made me very uncomfortable. My daughter gave me a hug. so he thought he had to give me one too.came over to me and said, I want a hug. and I called the manager, to tell them what happened, but she thought he was being friendly. One of Spartanburg's best! Been coming here for years. In fact, where did my wife (who is originally from Greenwood SC) want to go to dinner on our anniversary? Gotta marry a woman who'll choose The Beacon over a snooty five-star restaurant any day! Recommendations: everything but my go-tos or either the double chili-cheese with bacon or slice heavy on the red with a tea of course!
I can't say enough good things about The Beacon Drive-In. We were in town for a softball tournament and they fed our entire softball family-45+ people with no issue at all. It was quick, efficient, and DELICIOUS! The girls loved it and can't wait to go back! Pay them a visit when you're in Spartanburg, and tell Jerry the SWVA Shockers said hello! 💙🧡
