One of Spartanburg's best! Been coming here for years. In fact, where did my wife (who is originally from Greenwood SC) want to go to dinner on our anniversary? Gotta marry a woman who'll choose The Beacon over a snooty five-star restaurant any day! Recommendations: everything but my go-tos or either the double chili-cheese with bacon or slice heavy on the red with a tea of course!
I can't say enough good things about The Beacon Drive-In. We were in town for a softball tournament and they fed our entire softball family-45+ people with no issue at all. It was quick, efficient, and DELICIOUS! The girls loved it and can't wait to go back! Pay them a visit when you're in Spartanburg, and tell Jerry the SWVA Shockers said hello! 💙🧡
Old school in the best way, places like this are the real beating heart of comfort food in the south. The livers were fantastic by the way! Y'all'd better come hungry.
