“We hadn’t been to California Dreaming in awhile and were reminded what we missed. NFL was on so didn’t miss our sports, places busy but got a good table and not so noisy that we couldn’t hear ourselves talk, best fluffy croissants and tender chicken fingers with amazing batter and when grandson requested fettuccini plain with butter..”no problem” and the service was amazing. Very efficient server, John, got our drink orders quickly with refills just before we finished the first, read my mind to add another plate so I could share, added extra ketchup without asking. And the wait wasn’t long so to sum it up 5 stars for food, atmosphere, price and service!!!!“

“Wes and his dad have done an amazing job at bringing Honey Baked Ham to Surfside Beach. From the cleanliness of the new location- to the freshness of all of the ingredients- it is on point! Highly recommend the Honeybaked sandwich and the BBQ smoked stacker. If you think this is just "another sandwich shop" be sure to try their whole hams for the holidays. Will be returning!“

“My family and I go to this restaurant multiple times when we vacation at the beach. We go to the beach a couple times a year and we always go here. I do not understand why anyone would go to these chain restaurants when this gem is right there. They have the absolute by far best omelette and their biscuit and gravy is awesome. This is a family owned restaurant and their food is sooo good. We were at the beach last week and we went there 3 times. My family loves raves and we will always support their business.“

“This restaurant has the best French fries that I have ever eaten. The portions are huge. The catfish is unbelievable as is the cole slaw. The service was very quick and very nice. Not to mention the wonderful view of the ocean from our indoor table. I only wish that this was the first day of my trip and not the last. I definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back.“

“Awesome place for burgers. So many great things about this place. From the peanuts to the floor, great and quick service, bountiful portions….everything is delicious! Come weekly and never disappointed, try something new every time, it’s all good. Wife loves the fish Reuben!“

Have always felt welcome by the staff and the people that are patrons. Great food for great prices. Our favorite thing is the live music they always have! We've always seen really talented bands.
Thanks to the owners for having such a fun place.

“Great wings. I’m from Pittsburgh and we love our wings but couldn’t find any restaurant that could make good wings. Fat Jacks is the best on the beach. Cold beer, crispy big fat wings.“

“Awesome food. Clean place. Arguably the best burger in horry county. House made toppings for the burgers and hot dogs are noticeable (cheese/chili/bacon jam etc). Can’t wait to go back“
