“Brews has wonderful atmosphere! Patio out back is great when the weather is nice. Staff is always friendly and helpful! With 20 taps, I always find a dark beer that I like, even porters and stouts in the summer! Great pizza and beer for $10 on Friday and Saturday nights!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with games up front.“
“First time tonight with friends. We each give it a 2 thumbs up.“

“One of Clemson’s newest gems! Good food, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere and great place to catch a game. I'll definitely be back!“
“Great college bar! Must come here.“
“This is our go to place to stay when visiting Clemson. The staff is always friendly and willing to help accommodate every situation. Pets are treated just as welcome, they understand they are part of the family too. The rooms are sized perfectly to stretch out but still small enough to be cozy.“
“I've seen my fair share of insane things here.“

“We had a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Rick Erwin's in Clemson and it truly made the evening special. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a celebration. The manager was especially impressive—efficiently greeting guests and checking on everyone who walked in, which set a great tone for the entire dining experience. For dinner, my husband enjoyed the Chilean sea bass, which was beautifully prepared, tender, and full of flavor. I ordered the filet paired with a crab cake, and both were outstanding—the filet was cooked perfectly and the crab cake was rich, fresh, and delicious. Our wine and cocktails complemented the meal wonderfully and added to the overall experience. Between the attentive service, exceptional food, and the thoughtful attention from management, Rick Erwin's made our Valentine's celebration memorable. We look forward to returning again soon.“
“Amazing service, the establishment has such a welcoming outside environment which is perfect for having a drink and catching up with friends. They really display their love for the Clemson tigers through their color scheme, murals, and events happening weekly. Wouldn’t want to relax during the day or enjoy my night anywhere else!“

“As a wife of an engineer in the Nuclear Power industry I know first hand what it's like to live in a hotel for months on end. Many of his crew works night shift and Jim has been there himself. You get off work at 4 or 5 am and nothing is open. You can't shut your stomach off so you're left with gas station or vending machine food. Very small refrigerators in the hotel rooms so you can't stock up on much other than some deli meat and cheese. Yesterday while visiting my husband on the road, we stopped at one of our favorite places in Seneca The Spot on the Alley. They were closed, or so we thought. Just as we turned to walk away from the locked door a man came and unlocked it. He let us in and explained they were just finishing up a few renovations. He kept apologizing and if we didn't mind them cleaning up they could serve us shortly. He said they were running odd hours due to the outage and decided to get a few things done in between the busy hours. I told him we just wanted to get an appetizer as we already had dinner plans but we were hungry and it would be a few hours before we were able to eat. He served us a big bowl of queso and fresh chips. I ordered a drink from the bar and we sat and talked quietly watching them work to get things put away. So the man came back and handed us a menu and invited us to come back the next morning. Come to find out they open early for the outage workers. The Spot on the Alley opens at 5 am during outage season for night shift to be able to get something hot to eat after a long night of hardwork. I just have to mention how nice I think it is. The man did tell me he only purchased The Spot on the Alley a few months prior. We have so much respect for these little towns who host hundreds of Plant workers a few months out of the year. Not to many businesses take into account the shifts these men and women work and their sacrifices and the odd shifts often times put their good health into question. So thank you for opening early for night shift. Don't know who will see it but here's the menu.“
