“This was a hidden gem right by our house! The people are really nice, good service, and good food (for the most part). My husband ordered the seafood platter and I ordered the shrimp basket. The fries were amazing, really. The fish, stuffed crab, and hush puppies were also really good! The reason for the one star off is that the shrimp were literally salad shrimp. We got a lot of them but they were tiny and a little over cooked. If you order a shrimp basket or seafood platter with shrimp, they should be large and plump. Not the case here. I’ll definitely go back because I loved the atmosphere, people, and lakefront location! But I won’t order the shrimp next time, because they are….well….shrimpy. The teaspoon is for size reference.“

“We hit a backup on 95 and decided to find a place to eat in Santee. We're grateful for the backup, because otherwise we'd have never found Santee Seafood Bistro! The food was great and the people were even nicer. Portions were very generous and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong stopping here.“

“I found this place as an ad on Words with Friends and decided to give it a try. We stayed for 2 days and it was so relaxing beautiful. Everyone we dealt with were super friendly and some had been coming for years. This was for our 46th anniversary and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We also loved eating at Chrissys Diner. All the people there were so friendly. Saw some of the same people at every meal. We will definitely visit this little hideaway again. Thanks to all of those that made our trip so pleasurable.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and comfortable. “My husband and I ate here for dinner on 6/17 and had a delicious meal. For an appetizer we loved the crawfish tails. They were tender and had a nice crunch to them. The prime rib was out of this world..medium rare.. juicy and tender.My husband had the Sea Scallops and he like them with the Cole slaw. And best of all our server, Sadie. Because it was my hubby's birthday, she brought him a piece of cake. Thank you Sadie .“

“We were in town for a long weekend and stopped in on a Thursday night just I time for bingo and trivia!! So much fun! They have prizes for each round and also had door prizes that night. We actually won trivia and a round of bingo! Prizes were cute snowman decorations, and the second one was a mug full of chocolate! They couple running the games were sweet and made it fun for everyone. Food was good with plenty of choices. We had the club sandwich and fried mushrooms. Portions are generous, and prices are decent. They have a full bar and have fun Goat drinks to pick from ( when goats fly, goat nuts, etc) that all offer something different. Definitely a fun place, glad we checked it out. We would probably pop back in if we were in the area. I forgot to take pics of the food“
