“In town visiting, and had heard about Dukes so I decided to see for myself. Being from KC, I have high standards for BBQ and this did not meet them. Ribs and (dry) pulled pork were the only BBQ items found on the buffet, which IMO does not qualify for a BBQ restaurant. Fried chicken and desserts were good, and there were a lot of sides to chose from. To me, "Dukes Buffet" would be a more appropriate name. If you're wanting a clean restaurant with an abundance of sides, salad bar, and good fried chicken, then this may fit the bill. If you are wanting a good BBQ restaurant, look elsewhere.“
“This is exactly what I was looking for in a BBQ joint. Great food, huge portions. The chopped pork was flavorful, the mac n cheese tasted homemade (I got a corner piece!), the hash and rice was excellent. The hot sauce was spicy and had tons of flavor. Best BBQ I've had in awhile. I'll definitely be back.“
“Delicious!!! Had 1/2 rack with slaw, mac & cheese. Hubby had ribs, pulled pork plate. Fall-off-the-bone, tender ribs. Tried the pulled pork on my husband's plate and it was tenderly delicious. Everything was well-seasoned that I did not need the sauces. I only tried the sauces, on small bites of meat, to see what they tasted like, and they were all flavorful! I enjoyed every morsel and will be taking that 57-minute trip again! My taste buds got a treat. Thank you!“
“Love this new location! I’ve been a handful of times now and had Austin as our server each time and he’s been great. The food and drinks are good, service is phenomenal and everyone I’ve talked to seems super nice. Will definitely be back often!“
