I’ve always had good food here so brought my family here waiting for a show at Washington Pavilion. We were seated promptly however they said bar was busy so took a long time for beverages. Ordered our food. About an hour later my daughter and I received our chicken Alfredo. Very little sauce on pasta, very cool. Not appealing at all. No breadsticks. They were in the oven!Granddaughter received her pizza so we helped her with that. Had to ask for her drink, second drink finally...read full review
Great food, great server named John Michael. Great atmosphere and the prices are reasonable
My husband and I went for a late lunch on a Monday (today 02/13) after my daughter said she thought it was a good restaurant. The server was nice but it seemed awkward. We waited literally 40 minutes for our food. My husband ordered the rise n shine burger and it was really vercooked and they forgot the Avocado and jalapeños that was supposed to be on the burger. MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub offers a mix of good and average experiences. While the food is great, with excellent options like the McKenzie River pizza, thin crust cheese, and gluten-free baked ziti, the service can be inconsistent. Some reviewers have reported long wait times, but others praise the friendly staff, like Josie, who ensures guests are well taken care of. The atmosphere is cozy and upscale, with a good vibe, making it a great spot for families. The restaurant has a great selection of beer and is budget-friendly. Guests enjoy dishes like the hummus plate, Stockman on a gluten-free crust, and wedge salad with chicken or steak. However, the thin crust pizza can be crispy, and the regular crust may be doughy. Overall, it's a decent choice for a casual meal out.
